       Most people(evolutionist included) think the theory of evolution was first proposed by Charles Darwin, and rests on scientific evidence, observations and experiments. Wrong! The truth is that Darwin was not its originator, and neither does the theory rest on scientific proof. The theory consists of an adaptation to nature of the ancient dogma of materialist philosophy. Although it is not backed up by scientific discoveries, the theory is blindly supported in the name of materialist philosophy. Not every evolutionist is atheist, but every atheist is an evolutionists. Why? Even though they are quick to say the same about Creationists, but let’s do the math(evolutionist hate math) students spend 12 years in public schools that roughly 2280 days not including college, If the child goes to church they go 1 day a week that 52 times a years that roughly 624 days in 12 years, which has more time brainwash. So it would seem that Christians are thinking outside box. Some Christians I know never went to church as children there parents were agnostic and they believed evolution, went to college and were further indoctrinated with evolution, but when they did their homework on what they were taught they couldn’t believe the BULL they were taught as fact. The field of evolutionary study is fraught with scandal and deception. Unfortunately, those who question evolution are subjected to criticism and censorship. Thus, evolution, disguised as science, is forced upon students by means that intimidates questioning and stifles reasoning. In effect, students are brainwashed to accept evolution without question.    The main problem with atheist and evolutionist is not the arguments for and against evolution and creation. Their problem is they can't bring themselves to reject evolution, because they have already rejected God. Humans have a big mental fault. They are not able to admit they were wrong. Therefore, they are trapped in their previous decision to reject God.
   If you speak with an Evolutionist you will find that two rarely agree on what evolution is, because it’s a lie and it too often changes, and when you have them in a corner they used one of these escape sayings, “you’re just religionist nut“, “You (enter swear words here)”, Sarcastic/with smiles remarks the void or intelligence response, or my fav “You’re just afraid of Science.” I find this one particularity funny, because evolution is anything, but science.

Darwin's theory suggests that millions of generations later the changes will result in new species. These adaptations are called links or intermediates between the old species and the new.
   The idea of natural selection sounds great when considering deer. The deer that can sense danger the quickest and run the fastest are able to escape the predator on a more consistent basis. However, other examples on the "evolutionary tree" have many laughable flaws. One of the best examples of evolution nonsense is the thought that a wingless bird began to evolve a wing. Why this would occur is not answered by evolutionists. The wing stub did not make the bird more adaptable to his environment. The first wing stubs would be much too small for the bird to fly. Why would a bird evolve wing stubs that are useless? This is backwards from the evolutionary theory of natural selection, which states that birds adapt and change in order to survive better in their environment. The bird with a half-size wing is placed at a disadvantage in its environment. Why would the bird continue for millions of generations to improve a wing stub that is useless? The Theory of Evolution is based on natural selection of the most adaptable member of a species, not the weakest. A bird with a useless wing is at a severe disadvantage. This is the opposite of natural selection. According to natural selection, the members of the bird species with the smallest useless wing would be the most adaptable and most likely to survive in the largest numbers. According to the theory of natural selection birds could never evolve to fly. Evolution is simply nonsense. This is so funny.
   We are then led to believe that some birds got tired of carrying around a worthless half-size wing, so they grew fingers on the end to help climb trees. The wings became arms and a new species was developed. Evolutionists actually believe this nonsense."
      The theory of "natural selection" is the basis and foundation for the Theory of Evolution. The existence of birds literally destroys the theory of natural selection. The rest of this page stomps and grinds into dust the failed Theory of Evolution. Evolutionists say birds grew hollow bones for less weight in order to fly. How would a bird pass this long-term plan to the millions of generations in order to keep the lighter bone plan progressing? The idea that birds or anything else has million-generation evolutionary plans is childish. The evolutionary concept of growing a wing over millions of generations violates the very foundation of evolution, natural selection.
     Birds aren't the only species that proves the theory of natural selection to be wrong. The problem can be found in all species in one way or another. Take fish for example. We are told by evolutionists that a fish wiggled out of the sea onto dry land and became a land creature. So let's examine this idea. OK, a fish wiggles out of the sea and onto the land, but he can't breathe air. This could happen. Fish do stupid things at times. Whales keep swimming up onto the beach where they die. Do you think the whales are trying to expedite a multi-million generation plan to grow legs? That concept is stupid, but let's get back to the fish story. The gills of the fish are made for extracting oxygen from water, not from air. He chokes and gasps before flipping back into the safety of the water. Why would he do such a stupid thing? This wiggling and choking continues for millions of generation until the fish chokes less and less. His gills evolve into lungs so he can breathe air on dry land, but now he is at risk of drowning in the water. One day he simply stays out on the land and never goes back into the water. Now he is a lizard. If you believe this evolutionary nonsense, you need psychiatric help.
     Giant dinosaurs literally exploded onto the scene during the Triassic period. The fossil record (petrified bones found in the ground as at the Dinosaur National Park in Jensen, Utah, USA) shows no intermediate or transitional species. Where are the millions of years of fossils showing the transitional forms for dinosaurs? They do not exist, because the dinosaurs did not evolve.”
   Books published by evolutionists have shown the giant Cetiosaurus dinosaur with the long neck extending upright eating from the treetops. They claimed natural selection was the reason Cetiosaurus had a long neck. This gave them an advantage in reaching fodder that other species could not reach. One day during the assembly of a skeleton for a museum display someone noticed the neck vertebrae were such that the neck could not be lifted higher than stretched horizontally in front of them. The natural selection theory was proven to be a big lie. The Cetiosaurus dinosaur was an undergrowth eater. The long neck actually placed the Cetiosaurus at a disadvantage in his environment, just the opposite from the natural Theory of Natural Selection. Evolutionists will now claim the animal evolved a long neck because he had the advantage of eating from bushes on the other side of the river. This is typical of the stupid logic of an evolutionist.”

But the evidence will not support this argument Thus, the changes observed in the laboratory are not analogous to the sort of changes needed for macroevolution.      After this broke out and Natural Selection was ruled an EPIC failure and many jumped ship. But rather than admitting they were wrong some diehard evolutionary atheist “scientist” came up with new term Random Genetic Drift which is the random change in the genetic composition of a population due to chance events causing unequal participation of individuals in producing succeeding generations. Along with natural selection, genetic drift is a principal force in evolution. Seriously? Yea Read on. “Modern experimental work indicates that variations in organisms appear in consequence of 1) the duplication or multiplication of the chromosomes that occur in the cell nucleus, 2) in the translocation or displacement of parts of chromosomes, 3) the loss of chromosomes or parts of chromosomes, 4) gene mutations, which appear to be the result of the rearrangement of the molecules that make up the gene, or the action of inhibitors or stimulators of the genes, 5) loss of genes, 6) cross-breeding varieties.
   All the above causes are simply a shuffling or rearrangement of parts of the chromosomes or of genes. Such rearrangements may be expected to yield a considerable amount of variation, but clearly must be within the type...

   This explains why all breeds of dogs, pigeons, etc., despite their great diversity are still dogs, pigeons, etc. That it is impossible to change a dog or a pigeon into anything else but a dog or a pigeon is evident from such facts as the following which are taken from the work of Dr. Hurst, already quoted: "1) The gene is the sole basis of hereditary transmissions. 2) In every case that has been investigated more than one pair of genes are concerned in the development of each character...Genetical experiments show that in the simplest case, at least four pairs of genes are concerned in the organization and development of the wild agouti coat colour of rabbits, and many other genes are also concerned." The rearrangement of the molecules that make up one or more of the genes that regulate the colour of the rabbits' fur is likely to effect some change in that colour, but even if there be a simultaneous arrangement of the molecules of all such genes, the effect on the animal's coat is confined to the colour; all such changes are necessarily within narrow limits, and this applies equally to the genes that regulate other parts of the rabbit, and those of all other animals Take a simple one-called organism, such as the amoeba - shuffle ad infinitum the constituent molecules of all the genes that control organization of the amoeba, and what can the result be other than a modified amoeba?
   In view of the discoveries in genetics made during the past 35 years, those who have a legal training marvel how any geneticist can believe that the great variety of animals that now exist are offspring of some ancestor far more simple than an amoeba.
   
   This is very remarkable in view of the fact that breeding experiments lasting over some 30 years have been made with the vinegar fly, Drosophila melanogaster. This produces about 25 generations in a year, hence some 900 successive generations of this species have been bred in the laboratory in the unsuccessful attempt to convert it into another type. This corresponds to about 30,000 years of human existence. There appears to exist no mechanism whereby a new type of organism can arise from an existing one. This explains why all breeds of dogs, pigeons, etc., despite their great diversity are still dogs, pigeons, etc.
   Evolutionists insist that many unlimited, little changes over long periods of time amount to major changes. They cite as facts for evolution: mutation and natural selection. However, these are mere mechanisms for change. They do not indicate evidence of any kind for the amount of change that can occur.
   With regard to the mechanisms of mutation and natural selection, Roger Lewin sums the conclusion of the Macroevolution Conference in Chicago writing, “The central question of the Chicago conference was whether the mechanisms underlying microevolution can be extrapolated to explain the phenomena of macroevolution. At the risk of doing violence to the positions of some of the people at the meeting, the answer can be given as a clear, “ (Roger Lewin, Evolution Theory under Fire, Science, vol 210, 21 November 1980, p.883).

   Carbon Dating
   
   Carbon dating fares a little better but is still not very accurate. In 1984 Hansruedi Stutz found some sandstone with fossilized mussels in it and with fragments of coalified wood. The sandstone described as coming from Magenwil, Switzerland is said to be 20 million years old and thus the coalified wood found in the sandstone along side the mussels could be at the approximate same age. Mr. Stutz sent samples to the Physikalisches Institute of the University of Bern, Switzerland. This is a very prestigious laboratory and could be counted on in processing the samples with utmost care to eliminate any contamination. Given the assumed date of the sandstone the 14C reading in the wood, assuming it was the same age, should read as an infinite age as all perceptible 14C would have been converted to 12C in around 100,000 years.
   Instead the laboratory gave the date of 36,440 years +/- 330 years. That all the 14C is not gone shows that the sandstone is probably not near the assumed either.

   Are Decay Rates Constant?
   The decay rate is limited by the light constant c and if c has changed over the years as Barry Setterfield says then past decay rate could have been much substantially faster.
   But some recent experiments in beta decay of ionized atoms have been accelerated up to a billion fold. During experimentation 163Dy, a stable nuclide under normal earth conditions would found to decay to 163Ho in 47 days when the conditions were bare nucleus of the completely ionized state. That is 1400 times the normal half life in the 163Dy - 163Ho decay rate. In the rhenium  osmium dating system, which is an isotopic clock used by evolutionists, the 187Re decays to 187Os with a half life of only 33 years. The experiment involved the fully ionized 187Re in a storage ring which were found to decay at a rate of almost a billion times faster than normal decay. The normal 187Re  187Ho half life is 42 billion years.
   
   Geologic Column
   
   “Evolutionists have constructed the Geologic Column in order to illustrate the supposed progression of "primitive" life forms to "more complex" systems we observe today. Yet, "since only a small percentage of the earth's surface obeys even a  portion of the geologic column ¦the claim of their having taken place to form a continuum of rock/life/time over the earth is therefore a fantastic and imaginative contrivance.1" "The lack of transitional series cannot be explained as being due to the scarcity of material. The deficiencies are real, they will never be filled."2 This supposed column is actually saturated with "polystrate fossils" (fossils extending from one geologic layer to another) that tie all the layers to one time-frame. "To the unprejudiced, the fossil record of plants is in favor of special creation." Dr. Thomas Barnes, Emeritus Professor of Physics at the University of Texas at El Paso, has published the definitive work in this field.4 According to this column humans and tobacco are twins.

   “Lacking laboratory evidence for natural origins of the universe, of life, and species, evolutionists argue that fossils in the earth's crust show natural origin of species. But once again, evidence is lacking or at best is circumstantial and debatable.“ Harvard Professor Gould claims that “Evolution occurs in spurts, not gradually.” But according to Kent R. Rieske, B.Sc that’s a scientist, not a professor. “This theory attempts to explain the lack of continuity in the fossil record. However, this theory is more troublesome than the gradual change theory. Large jumps or spurts in the fossil record don't prove evolution at all. In fact, they disprove evolution. The theory that evolution can occur in spurts, because the fossil record shows it did not occur gradually, is a wild stretch of the imagination. Species have some characteristics similar to other species, but similarity doesn't prove any evolutionary link whatsoever. There are more than missing links in biology. There are entire missing chains in 100% of the branches of the false evolutionary tree.
   Harvard paleontologist Dr. Gould wrote, “The extreme rarity of transitional forms in the fossil record persists as the trade secret of paleontology. The evolutionary trees that adorn our textbooks have data only at the tips and nodes of their branches; the rest is inference, however reasonable, not the evidence of fossils. All paleontologists know that the fossil record contains precious little in the way of intermediate forms; transitions between major groups are characteristically abrupt (Gould, Stephen, The Pandas Thumb, New York: Norton, 1980, pp 181, 189).
   Francis Hitching: “When you look for links between major groups of animals, they simply aren’t there; at least, not in enough numbers to put their status beyond doubt. Either they don’t exist at all, or they are so rare that endless argument goes on about whether a particular fossil is, or isn’t, or might be, transitional between this group and that (Hitching, Francis, The Neck of the Giraffe: where Darwin went wrong, New Haven, Conn.: Ticknor and Fields, 1982, pp 56-57;.p. 19).
   Mark Ridley of Oxford University wrote, “... no real evolutionist, whether gradualist or punctuationist, uses the fossil record as evidence in favor of the theory of evolution as opposed to special creation.”
   “The gradual change of fossil species has never been part of the evidence for evolution. In the chapters on the fossil record in the Origin of Species, Darwin showed that the record was useless for testing between evolution and special creation because it has gaps in it. The same argument still applies.” (Ridley, Mark, 1981). What Darwin really said of the fossil record was that, this, perhaps, is the most obvious and serious objection which can be urged against the theory.”
   Phillip E. Johnson of the Berkeley Writes. “Darwinism is not so much an inference from the facts as a deduction from naturalistic philosophy” (Johnson, Phillip. The evolution backlash: Debunking Darwin. World, March 1997 p. 13). John Weister, chairman of the Science Education Commission of the American Scientific Affiliation, states more bluntly that “Darwinism is naturalism masquerading as science” (World 1997, p. 14).
      In fact, many evolutionists are now espousing the theory of Punctuated Equilibrium to explain why the missing links are missing in the fossil record. They are admitting that the fossil record shows that populations of organisms resist change for millions of years. This period of time allows opportunity for organisms to be fossilized. When populations evolve, the time period is so short (as in one to two million years) that too few opportunities exist for organisms to be fossilized. Thus, transitional fossils documenting evolution from one kind of organism into another are missing because the change took place so quickly. This interpretation of the fossil record is not evidence. It is an excuse for the absence of evidence.
   The creation model correctly predicted that the fossil record would show fully functional, "isolated" populations of organisms that resist change. Fossil evidence confirms the laboratory observations and predictions. The evidence supports the supernatural explanation for species.
   
   Age of the Earth/Current Population
   
   Dr. Thomas Barnes, Emeritus Professor of Physics at the University of Texas at El Paso, has published the definitive work in this field.4 Scientific observations since 1829 have shown that the earth's magnetic field has been measurably decaying at an exponential rate, demonstrating its half-life to be approximately 1,400 years. In practical application its strength 20,000 years ago would approximate that of a magnetic star. Under those conditions many of the atoms necessary for life processes could not form. These data demonstrate that earth's entire history is young, within a few thousand of years. This fact also how even more why carbon dating is wrong. There is more carbon now in our atmosphere then there ever could have been “Billions” of years ago. World population growth rate in recent times is about 2% per year. Practicable application of growth rate throughout human history would be about half that number. Wars, disease, famine, etc. have wiped out approximately one third of the population on average every 82 years. Starting with eight people, and applying these growth rates since the Flood of Noah's day (about 4500 years ago) would give a total human population at just under six billion people. However, application on an evolutionary time scale runs into major difficulties. Starting with one "couple" just 41,000 years ago would give us a total population of 2 x 1089. 9The universe does not have space to hold so many bodies

Now I could accept that since a complex system is being created, that there is some guiding force, but definitely not if you say the whole assembly has to come about by a series of coincidental accidents, which just happened to occur in the precise order to create life. Do you understand what it means to make the statement that it all came about "by itself?" Most don't understand that idea, and how hard it would be in reality. I would sooner believe that if you left open paint in the back of a truck with canvass, and you drove around long enough, the paint would eventually splash around and create the Mona Lisa. Or a tornado swirling through a junk yard and assembling a 747! If indeed life did begin through sheer probability of reactions, it did not do so under ordinary laws of probability. The probability to produce a simple DNA molecule by chance would be 1 in 1.0 X 1040. In other words - impossible. This mathematical evidence against spontaneous origins of life is largely ignored.    In 1866, guided by the bias of evolution and atheism, German embryologist and philosopher Ernst Haeckel, concluded that evolutionary the stages of species from single cells to humans (phylogeny) were repeated in embryological development (ontogeny) of each species. He surmised that, being highest on the evolutionary tree, human embryos should pass through the stages of the lower or more primitive species, namely single cell, to fish, to amphibian, to reptile, to mammal, to human. So convinced that he was right, he self-proclaimed the "Biogenetic Law": Ontogeny Recapitulates Phylogeny. However, it was neither a law nor correct. It was fraud.
   Haeckel supplied drawings as evidence of his “scientific law,” which can still be found in textbooks to convince students that evolution is a fact. The truth is, Haeckel’s drawings are wrong. Worse yet, they were intentionally created to mislead viewers to “see” what Haeckel believed to be true.
   During the trial, Haeckel confessed that he had altered his drawings, but excused himself by saying: :I should feel utterly condemned and annihilated by the admission, were it not that hundreds of the best observers and biologists lie under the same charge. The great majority of all morphological, anatomical, histological, and embryological diagrams are not true to nature, but are more or less doctored, schematized and reconstructed“(Bowden, Malcolm (1977), Ape-Men: Fact or Fallacy? (Bromley, England: Sovereign Publications), p. 128).

                     yes...i wouldn't even begin to attempt to explain it...even if i Googled supporting narratives, i don't have time to try to justify it all. the fact reamins though that the theory of evolution is lucid, heavily supported by time, fossil records, carbon dating, natural selection, etc.
                     
                     and just because something is a "theory" doesn't mean it is worthless. if you know anything about the scientific method you will understand that it takes a tremendous amount of intense study, research, deliberation and experimentation for something to become a theory.
                     
                     the creation fairy tale is supported by one book - a book loaded with inconsistencies, inaccuracies and evolving meanings of scripture to support creationists' assertion that God created Man from dust and woman from his rib, then somehow every animal on Earth was hunted and loaded onto a big man-made boat (even dinosaurs, now) with enough food and water to survive for forty days and forty nights then when the flood was over, the Grand Canyon was formed in a matter or weeks from the rushing water. if that is not absurd i don't know what is. but they are teaching this to their children. my son learned that man evolved AND he was also exposed to the creation myth and guess what? evolution made more sense to his young, keen analytical mind....

                        Could you give me an example of ONE inconsistencies or inaccuracies in the bible?  Do you realize how big Noah ark was and how long it took to build it and he didn't build it alone? You can see why the grand canyon was form quickly not slowly because there are no erosion marks and the polystarte. Obviously you don't know about creation science and there for could not tell your child the real account of creation and the flood. I did research and the creation account is the thing that make sense. And people all over the USA and beyond are waking up to this truth, and it’s about time.

                              After being taught evolution through high school and finding out all the facts n my books were frauds, it got me thinking, but it wasn't until post college that started to see the huge gaps in evolution and I soon realized all the proofs for evolution were either drawings, bones(which don't come with tags) and all the media hype and the silent retractions led me to find that evolution is a lie. Then watching evolutionists lose 99% of debates against creationist, was the ultimate proof.

                           Noah's Ark was approximately 450 feet long, if you translate "cubits". modern cruise ships are 300 feet long and if they were made of wood, as Noah's ark was, it would break from the pressure of the wind and waves, which is why they are also reinforced with steel throughout. there are over 100,000 species of animals on the planet (including insects like butterflies etc.) and the great beasts like rhinos and hippos eat 50 to 100 pounds every day. honestly how could 8 people feed all those animals? and what about their waste? what did the dinosaurs eat? do you seriously think ANY wooden structure could contain a T-rex? now where did Noah get all those trees? you couldn't just go to Home Depot and buy lumber and nails etc. you would have had to fell, chop and hew thousands of trees. what about nails? did he make those? how did he waterprood the ark?!!!!!!!!

                              The Bible said only animals that breathe with nostrils. Since we know insects breathe through their skin they wouldn't have been on the ark.
                              They wouldn’t have had sea animals on the ark. after the flood the oceans salt level shifted and the animals adapted. Where the animal are now they migrated there then adapted, even the most liberal of scientists would agree with that.
                              Dinos were plant eaters before the flood. And Noah’s would not take the biggest oldest dino he could find.                                     Read it again. Migration and adaptation is not evolution, guy. Dogs and wolves can breed and make variations of DOG, not bear cat or monkey. You can have variation, genetic recombination, adaptation and even mutations within a kind, but they have limits.  Do you read before you submit. I thought you were a scientist? Now it all make sense, I don't faith in you time god. Time is the only thing holding your myths head above water. Ever wander when you if a bone it takes a decade before showing it the public and when you finally do the world has to get older for it to make sense?                                     Okay, here's another issue. Noah took two of each type of animal, so he did not take lions and kittens ... he just took kittens (the smallest representative of their lineage).
                                    
                                    Given this as true, where did the lions come from later on? Did they evolve from the kittens? Did they spontaneously appear? If so, why didn't God wipe out all of mankind and make humans spontaneously appear again in a form that better suited him? Of all the humans that existed at that time, what were the odds that all were wicked except one?
                                    
                                    Evolution has holes, but so does creationism, and whenever I see two theories that aren't complete I often see where a solution arrives later that takes both into account. There's a reason both ideas still persist and that's because it's difficult to absolutely disprove either one.
                                    
                                    I have an interesting question ... why did God create the animals? Were they meant as food for Adam? If so, why did God create so many creatures we would never eat? That's a spine tingler that has always made me wonder ...

      Wow. What a convoluted unscientific diatribe. I think the author is brainwashed and has no notion of the Nature of Science which, at its essence, is to try and falsify its theories. Who knows where the science of evolution will go as new evidence becomes available, but if I compare what evidence was available during my school years compared to the present. The evidence for evolution is building up, partuculalry that of DNA, so much so that the confused relisious right had to come up with the crazy notion of "intelligent design". Wow, it is breathtaking because they actually accept a lot of the evidence for evolution. You cannot try and produce religious evidence against evolution because there is none. In the same way, scientists cannot ever investigate and disprove religion. It is a belief in the minds of most of mankind. So stick to that. I think he doth protest too much!

         That's the point I keep trying to make, Pam. Evolution should never be a theological argument. Where in the statement 'less complex creatures evolve into more complex ones' does it ever say anything about religion?
         
         Further in point ... Why does John Paul II (the former pope) embrace evolution if it's anti-christian? (I posted this somewhere on these forums and it went mostly ignored).
         
         This is my problem with evolution vs. creationism. This is like debating Fred Flintstone vs. Barney the Dinosaur. It's not a religious debate and never should have been brought to the religious forum. It's also not a debate of belief as evolution is a proven theory.
         
         What really upsets me is that this was brought to the religious forum to cause the religious debate a certain party new it would bring and that person stands on the religious side of the ball allowing us all to fight while they sit back and left at us.
         
         We're not serving a debate ... we're serving another person's debate to stand believers against non-believers, and we're just foolish enough to let it all happen.

               For sure John.  When it comes to the fact that Darwin's theory of evolution becomes a laughing stock, as it is, it's time to put it to rest.  You and Pam are doing a great job in here.  You both would have a lot more support in this thread if it wasn't for the fact that we have been through this ridiculous argument umpteen times before in other threads.  They like to start new threads because there is just so much evidence against evolution in the other threads.  Some of us are just too bored with the topic any more.  It needs to go away like the fairy tale that it is.  Thanks, I'll join your fan club as well.

For the God that I worship loves all, and wants nothing more then for his children to be happy, would it bring him great joy if they wanted to get to know him of course, but does a true father force his will upon his on children, "now you listen here you will sit down and have a talk with me, and that is on a daily basis to boot" my God is not like that.  further more, I believe that this earth is all the hell we are ever going to see. For our spirits which came from him will go back to him. And our body will just be buried. For now is the time for life, and that my friend is to the fullest. So if these people want evolution, to believe in then why not. If it makes them happy, then great.

    Now, interestingly, to prove something false, you look for items to refute what is accepted as truth ... just as you did. Given the facts you present, evolution appears to be an utter lie.
    
    Of course, then we are left with creationism. Let's see how it holds up.
    
    
    First off, the basis of creationism is what is written in the Bible ... in Genesis. We will start by accepting it as total fact. After all, to disprove something, we must first accept it as total truth and then find that which doesn't work.
    
    According to the Bible, God created Man first ... animals second. This is a *major* important fact, as this must be proven true for creationism to stand. If one fact falls, then we must question the rest ... as we did with evolution.
    
    Okay, so Man came first and animals came second ... dinosaurs were animals, so man came before dinosaurs. Maybe *just* before, but before none-the-less.
    
    Now, as large as dinosaurs were, why are they never mentioned in the Bible? Other animals are mentioned, so it's not like ancient man ignored them, right? He also had names for every creature ... as it is stated that Adam named all the creatures of the Earth. As such, dinosaurs had names ... what were they? And what happened to them? How did they become extinct? Humans didn't have the capacity to kill them off. So, did God knock them off? I wouldn't think a creator would cull a creation a short while after creating it.
    
    And there are the cave paintings of ancient man which depict woolly mammoths. Now, this is direct proof that ancient man shared his world with woolly mammoths, seeming to say man was created and then dinosaurs .. backing the original claim in Genesis that man came first., so we are back to creationism being true, right?
    
    One big problem ... ancient man never drew cave paintings of the Tyranosaurus Rex or any of the other large ancient reptilian dinosaurs. How could early man miss drawing something that must have frightened him ... and hunted him night and day?
    
    Also, how does creationism explain the extinction of the giant reptiles, the extinction of the giant mammals, and many other mass extinctions that occurred? Man mentions the great flood that destroyed nearly all life in Noah's time, so that explains it, right?
    
    Wrong ...
    
    Again, the Bible states that Noah collected two of *every* beast and placed them on the ark. As such, Noah saved all creatures from extinction.
    
    Given the biodiversity that exists today, and throwing out the possibility that new species can crop from old ones (as that is a theory given to evolution) then this means every creature that exists today *must* have existed in Noah's time.
    
    I can accept that, but how did Noah get two of every one of these species in one ark? Considering the size of the ark (that is given in the bible) this just isn't possible?
    
    Also, why do species develop on Australia and Madagascar that are different from other places? Given the biodiversity presented by the case of Noah, all creatures within a given certain tropical zone should be identical, not unique. A zebra could exist on any grassland, so all grasslands should have zebras ... and yet they don't. The same argument falls for kangaroos ... why do they only exist in Australia? Don't fret, as Darwin was puzzled by this one as well. In fact, this is the dogma that got him rolling on evolutionism to begin with.
    
    
    So, is creationism right and evolution wrong? If poking holes in what's considered fact makes it untrue, then *both* theories lose.
    
    
    However, I (and many others) believe the truth to be far simpler. It's possible that mutations (brought about by tenuous changes on the Earth) create the biodiversity present. Ice ages, greenhouse effects, all these things change what can survive ... some things adapt, some don't, and some creatures magically arrive on the scene (perhaps a hint at creationism).
    
    We have found life in many places on the Earth we never thought possible. As such, we know that life will do anything to adapt and thrive on Earth. When the rules of life change (too much heat, too much cold, no land, or lack of water) life grows extinct that can't adapt, and life springs forth that is capable of holding its ground. As such, life evolves to meet the circumstances, but it doesn't necessarily evolve because it can perceive a need for a certain mutation and bring it forth.
    
    
    Darwin believed in survival of the fittest ... In this finest moment, Darwin was wrong.
    
    Survival is about the most adaptable. Many creatures in the fossil record showed adaptations that would have made them forever dominant, had the environment not changed on Earth and ruined their long run ... Instead, those creatures that could adapt to change lived on, and many creatures devolved in a sense, losing some of the many gains of previous species, in favor of becoming able to live in more environments. That doesn't make them the fittest ... that makes them the most adaptable.
    
    It's interesting how the fossil record shows a dramatic change in the biosphere after each cataclysm on Earth. As such, it would seem our creator constantly got bored of the current creatures and plants, sending tragedy upon the Earth which allowed everything to start over fresh. Those creatures that could adapt survived, and from them the populous was rebuilt.
    
    
    It is not wrong to believe in God, anymore than it is wrong to realize the Bible is a work of man, and as such, could possibly be wrong about many facts. As such, I suggest we not stick our heads in the sand and ignore the science that we can't refute ... the dinosaurs ... as they tell us that we *did not* come first (regardless of what is written in Genesis) and that we just might be one of many in a long line of God's *chosen ones*.
    
    
    Of course, would men of faith be able to accept that we weren't God's first loved ones, even if we were the last? To state our creator could never have made another is pretty presumptuous, as I know the Bible says God made man and the animals, but I don't remember reading anywhere that he never created anything beforehand.
    
    For all we know ... maybe Genesis isn't about creation ... but rather ... a recreation ... where God decided to start over.
    
    Given that as true, a lot of pieces would fall in place that would support both claims. And why would early man not know of this previous life God had made? Maybe God wanted us to feel special and feared our jealousy if we knew we were not the first, or our fear that we might not be the last.
    
    
    So, believe what you will, but know there are inconsistencies in everything, and science is all about assuming everything is true until it can be proven false. Remember, a theory is an assumption that is believed to be true as enough facts don't yet exist to prove it false.
    
    Point given ... it was once a theory that the world was flat, until someone postulated it was round. By finally proving the Earth to be round, we proved the Earth could not be flat, destroying the Flat-Earth theory.
    
    However, we wrote about the Flat-Earth for centuries, accepted it as true, and would still believe the same today, had we not sought out to test the Round-Earth theory.
    
    Books do not issue proof of anything, regardless of their source. Instead, we must come up with theories, accept that they might be true, then try to disprove them until we are certain we no longer can ... as then we find the truth of things. As such, satellites orbiting the Earth are the final nail in the Flat-Earth Theory, as satellites could never orbit a flat Earth.
    
    
    As a final note ... creationists (and only those who believe in it with all of their heart) must also believe we are not alone. For if God can create life once, then who are they to say he couldn't do it twice? After all, where did God promise never to repeat life elsewhere? (not that he didn't, but that he never would, as he might have said we were the only one's yesterday then just as easily could have changed his mind today ... and all writings handed to us from God come from the past, so we have no current updates from our creator). After all, God's love is for mankind, and mankind was made in his image ... so who is to say he did not place his image elsewhere?
    
    
    And why do I go there? Because most creationists feel as threatened by the idea of evolution as they are by the idea we are not alone in the universe. If you have already accepted creationism and admit God to be all powerful, then who is to say he might not have another world stowed away ... a hidden Earth, lightyears away. After all, he did create the Heavens and the Earth, so could he not do so again?
    
    
    And no, I do not chose to write a hub on this as I am not out to destroy anyone's beliefs or create a new belief system for others to follow. Instead, I am presenting this information to help us do what humans were designed to do ... to question everything around us ... as we are the only creatures on this Earth seemingly capable to do so, and this gift (as we should be believe)was installed upon us to be used to its potential.
    
    Question everything ... or prefer to live on a flat Earth. I prefer mine round and I'm glad my forefathers thought the same.

          I'm not here to change anyone's beliefs ... just doing my job of giving everyone something to consider as we never prosper as a species unless we are willing to question everything around us.
          
          Plato was poisoned for his quest for knowledge ... I chose not to see the same happen in modern society.
          
          So, my response is not hub material, as it presents food for thought and not verifiable facts we should all accept and believe as true. I can claim nothing in my response as fact, but if it makes one person's mind open up to consider (not necessarily believe) other possibilities, then it has earned more for the human race than any hub ever could.
          
          So to speak ... I'm not in this thread to refute or prove anything ... I'm here to make us all question the truth and to give us the tools necessary to determine it for ourselves, based on what we know, what we believe, what we can accept, and what we can learn that might make us chose differently.

    To yoshi97. Dinosaurs are in the bible they're are just different words. Behemoth Job 40:15-24,Job chapter 41, Leviathan Psalm 104:25,26 and Isaiah 27, tanniyn (dragon). Many drawings of these animals have been found, everywhere which disproves the age of the earth. If humans never lived with dinosaurs how could we draw them? Noah collected two of every, kind not two of every species, that where people too often get confused, I stated in my original post that scientist have done studies to prove that when to mate to of the same kinds you may get different variations, but the will still be that same kind. The roots of T-Rex were only 2 inches deep. Had he bit into the hide of another dinosaur he would have lost teeth
    They cut a tooth in half og a unearthed T-Rex and found in deeply impureated with CHLOROPHYLL! That's right, Chlorophyll is the main substance found in PLANTS not meat! T-REX was a plant eater. By the way, this discovery validates the Bible once again! How so? See this passage...Genesis 1:30, "And to every beast of the earth, and to every fowl of the air, and to every thing that creepeth upon the earth, wherein there is life, I have given every green herb for meat: and it was so." Look it up! Evolution is nothing to fear it's simply an false idea(like Columbus discovered America), Science is nothing to fear use science. It works more in our favor. Genesis is a great place to start if you learn how it all really happened, and if you really want to learn more I suggest to look up The Hovind Theory. Be Blessed.

       Drawings of dinosaurs? Where? Remember, when I speak of dinosaurs I am speaking of very large lizards - not woolly mammoths.
       
       As for T-Rex losing teeth ... he did ... He had new teeth that grew in behind the others to replace those he lost.
       
       T-Rex a plant eater? Ever see an alligator eat plants? Those teeth are made to eat meat and won't work well for grass eating.
       
       Also, we eat plants (as do other herbivores and omnivores) so if something eats the undigested contents of our stomachs, they will inevitably digest some chlorophyll. And T-Rex ate *many* plant eaters, so of course, he digested plant matter secondhand.
       
       And the last note I would like to add is that I do not consider the Bible a book of science as it is written by men and handed down through the generations. Who is to say things weren't mistranslated?
       
       Let's not forget ... Many books were written claiming the Earth to be flat and not one of them proved true in the end.
       
       And if Noah collected two of every kind, he still needed to collect two dinosaurs, where are they today?
       
       I don't question your faith, as I feel reverence for how strong you are in your beliefs, but I do question how you refute proof by consulting a book written before such proof ever existed.
       
       And you still have not explained why the dinosaurs disappeared. Was this an act of our creator? and if so ... why?
       
       Also, if Behometh and Leviathan are mentioned *after* the great flood, then (according to the Bible) this means Noah *did* take dinosaurs onboard the ark, or else they could not exist afterwards. So, again I ask, how did he get them onto the ark, when they were as large (some even larger) than the boat?

    It's funny most of these BT's (bible thumpers) seem to have no information about themselves on their profiles.  Why do they not write some hubs since they are members?  They usually have the longest posts of any other group, yet they don't care to post an article. 
    
    They also speak in God's name and tell us how proud they are to serve him.  But yet they are ashamed to let others know their names.  I know, many members do not use their real names and this is fine, but the BT's claim to be spreading the word of God. 
    
    So, if you want to prove you are truly an instrument of God then quit hiding behind these stupid names.  Otherwise I can only assume you are already known by another, more familiar name.
    
    The BT's should jump at the chance to be "Martyrs for Jesus" if they are true believers so let's see who is really serious about about their faith.

    I've always wondered why god was racist.
    Why wouldn't he or she work out a better way of spreading the good word to the people of Central and South America than sending small pox ridden missionaries to decimate a population. What made the people of the middle east the centre of the world while the rest of the world's population (happy in their ignorance)had to wait for the invention of ocean going vessels.

       I feel your pain here. I know that evolution has proven that your god is a lie - but please don't your frustrations out here. This is not a meaningful discussion - nor is it intended to be. Evolution is a proven fact, and you are being deliberately obtuse. The theory is an ever evolving scientific theory which changes as new information comes to light - it never challenges the fact of it happening - only the method.
       
       I heartily suggest (and there is no malice in this) that it is probably time to go to a meeting. If there are none in the close vicinity, try phoning a few further away - I am sure they will come get you.

                This person you continue to debate with is issuing words in a book for proof, and could have just as easily said 'The Hindi Bible' is the real truth, if they had chosen a Hindu slant instead.
                
                After all, a scientist can no more refute the Hindi Bible's words  than they could the Christian Bible, due to the old argument ... none of us were there.
                
                As such, I will give you one lifeline to keep going with this thread (should you decide you are here to enlighten those who wish to carry on), but I believe you are an asthmatic being exhausted of important breath, by a source who cares not about the truth, but how they can use a book to drive you in a logical frenzy to prove what most of us already know and accept.
                
                And so, I leave you with this gem ...
                
                According to The Bible, God created the Garden of Eden and everything inside of it. If this is a fact, then God also created the tree of knowledge, knowing full well the temptation it would be for Adam and Eve. He then left them alone with that temptation and allowed them to eat - and we know he allowed it, as he could have prevented it by not placing the tree there to begin with or by placing something there to guard the tree.
                
                If we go with the ignorance that God just 'expected' Adam and Eve to obey him without question, then we must assume God is *not* all knowing or else he would have known that they would disobey him (and this is canon in The Bible - God is all-knowing - nothing in the Bible refutes this).
                
                So, God knew Adam and Eve would betray him and eat from the tree, yet he knowingly left them alone with the tree and did nothing to prevent them from eating from it. As such, this was an act of temptation ... and temptation is an action given to Satan, not God.
                
                So, did Satan put the tree there? Again, according to the Bible, God created *everything* in the garden - including the tree.
                
                So ... either God wanted us to have knowledge ... or we were tempted by our own creator to do something wrong, which seemingly points to the direction of our creator having a dual existence as protector and temtationist - making him God and Devil in one.
                
                
                So, Mark, there's a new (non-scientific) platform that allows you to wrestle on an even keel. Is The Bible right, or does it only tell the truth when the facts given represent the outcome needed?
                
                Have fun with this one!
                
                
                Oh yeah, and the next comeback will be that Satan was a snake in the garden sent to guard the tree ... so again, God all-knowing, allowed a rebel angel to guard it, never knowing of the rebellion
                that was about to occur. Hmmm...

          I already have corrected my errors, by going back to writing hubs, but I still manage to sneak in and read for my own amusement.

          The message I get from this is that I typically allow 10 posts in the forum for each hub, which means I'm due to write a hub, lest I upset my quota.
          
          I also generate five fans per hub, which means, right now, I am letting down eight new fans by not writing something new.
          
          So, as such, I will go back to writing hubs and allow the minions to battle it out, as I am unable to reason facts against a book written centuries ago, no more so than you can reason the existence of one God, versus the fact the Hindi Bible claims that there are many gods and not just one.
          
          What physical scrap can you offer to prove the Hindu claim wrong? Save your breath, as that answer will undoubtedly come from the Bible as well, which I can then refute using the Hindi Bible.
          
          If words in a book are all you have to back up your battles, then I suggest you read Dr. Seus, as his writings have been brainwashing kids for years.

    Like suspected the atheist and evolutionist achieved an Epic Fail in making a real argument against my post, well because most of them didn’t even read it. They simply ignored everything resorted back to the same ol ridicule, mockery and name-calling. Typical if you know any atheist and I know it will only continue after I leave this forum. So you atheist go back to debating against what you call nothing. But if it's there is nothing why are your guys debating Christians? You’re right. Right? Wrong! Truth is you don’t know, but you have faith in your side. If I’m wrong you guys should be out enjoying that life of yours, Oh wait….but  according to you have been freed from the bondslaves(as they looking for quotes from the Old Testament regarding slavery) of religion, Why are you here, debating with religious fervor? Go out and enjoy your life leave us crazy Christians to our faith, Let us minister to those, who aren’t so “sure”  of themselves, but you won’t because you guys are so insecure that you have to engage in debate in order to convince yourselves.     I am used to being blamed for many things, much like a child blames his or her parents for things he did and they take it in stride as they consider the source of the blame. Some children still blame the parents when they are themselves in they're 50's, 60's and 70's. It keeps them bitter and resentful and they blame many others for what they do as well.
    
    I get blamed for plenty and I still love my creation and long to fellowship with them.
    
    Adam blamed me too when he said to me "it is the woman that you gave me, it's her fault"...as if to say that had I not given him the woman, none of this ever would have happened, yet Adam chose to not follow my instructions, if he had, things would not be as they are. And Eve blamed the serpent and the serpent just said nothing...at least he took his lumps.
    
    I told them both to be fruitful and multiply and to fill the earth and have dominion over it all, to subdue it and rule over it.
    
    I honor peoples choice about the response they make to me.
    They will honor my response to them as well.

       If my servant Ron was sincere, then I would draw near to him and cuddle with him, I would be with him wherever he goes.
       
       I rebuked him not, I only asked him to not insert words where I did not say them.
       
       I have his reply and I accept it and honor it as sincere. "Yes, but you are forgiving and kind.  I am not."
       
       He seems to mean what he says, even though he does not know what he says anymore then he knows what he does. This is why I wink at what many of my servants do.
