How many tags should you have on your hub?
I have over 20 on some of my hubs. I think my hub score is getting lowered because I have too many tags. Is this possible to have too many tags? If so will my score go back up if I remove a few. How many is okay?
10 - 15 is the best.
I dont think it affect the hubscore. Just views, traffic and voting will affect hubscore.
Yet again...just my 2 cents
Use tags that are relevant to your hub, you can go up to 20 after which it says too many tags , but I suggest even if you have 5-10 relevant tags, yours will get picked up by the search engines.
Hi Steve,
I am interested in hearing how you went with this problem? Did you find that your score went back up after removing some tags?
My latest hub has dropped a few points and has about 30 tags, so I am just wondering if this may be the cause?
I am still trying to get this answered. I have moved my tags all to 20 for now. Still have some hubs with a lot.

After 6 months on the site i've started the really wonder how many backlinks is a reasonable number to any hub, and really to a hub becoming successful? Or is it simply a lottery. What kind of figures do other hubbers consider?

I'd like to suggest we get rid of Hubber Score - and perhaps even Hub Scores. They:- are constantly misunderstood;- cause a lot of upset and grief in the forums; and- encourage newbie Hubbers to direct their efforts in entirely wrong directionsFor instance, I've known newbie Hubbers stop...
