How many of you have actually flagged others for inappropriate hubs? I'm curious, and disappointed.

off for supposedly posting an "inappropriate poem" I didn't think it was bad. There were no curse words, nothing explicit. How many of you hubbers out there flag others for sexually "suggestive" writings? I'm curious.

OOPS! It took half of my other question which I had thought was too long and stuck it on the butt end of this one! What I had been saying in the first place was that my husband had been booted off recently for posting a poem that was said to be " Too explicit" Although in my opinion I've read SEVERAL things on here that have been twice as suggestive as his. ( including some of my own writings ) Hmmm? How far does our feedom of speech stretch here on hubpages? Is this actually a "G" rated site? Or is it designed for consenting adults?

I haven't flagged anything but that makes me want to look more closely to the appropriate content that hub pages allows. I feel like people should be able to write about whatever they want, but in truth we agreed to hub pages policy and if they do not allow certain things we have to comply.

I haven't, but just looking at some of these questions like: "Does sexual roleplay in the bedroom spice up the marriage?" I'm not sure what Hubpages admin considers inappropriate!

That's a good question because I've seen some mighty suggestive stuff and gee it made it to top hubs.  Imagine that!  I've even seen hubs telling us how to do illegal stuff.  So I guess you take your chances at what is and what isn't 'allowed.'

I have, but only when there is an obvious violation, such as the many call girl sites floating around...However, many may flag if it is offensive to 'them' vs HPs violations, which is wrong but true.

I don't think I have ever flagged a hub for sexually explicit, but I have flagged hubs that don't make sense. Have you ever ran across hubs where you think that the person does not actually speak English, and you can barely read it.

I haven't ever flagged any hub but I do avoid reading them further if I find them inappropriate.

Keep in mind that there are people here that vote down answers that have nothing wrong with them so the same people most likely do the same with hubs as well just for the sake of it.
When hub hopping I mainly vote up or leave it alone as just because something doesn't interest me it is not automatically bad.

No I have never done such a thing, however maybe people do this to me, for some reason my hubscore is really low, which I really just do not understand. I write here consistently and produce top quality content, not quantity like most people I see here. I think I participated in Political hubs too much and have written too many about politics or something. I just noticed my hubscore move from over 90 a while back to this. I do believe some people live to harass other though. They get a sick twisted thrill in flagging people who do not think exactly like them. This is really sad.

No. I have never flagged a hub. There are certainly ones that I didn't like, or didn't match the subject they were about. But, I don't think it is up to me to say if that person's hub is worth being published here. If I don't like it, I just move on to something I do like, and I don't worry about it.

What I don't like is hubs that are nothing but pictures, with very little or no description. Whats the point of a hub like that? It's almost like the person's only goal is to make as many hubs as possible for count and nothing more.

But, the ones that I did like, were very well done. Those are the people that I also follow. I don't follow people who don't write good informative hubs. And, I'm not that picky.

I have flagged for articles that weren't in English or that were poorly put together or were over sexually explicit.  I also flg anything I think could be a copy right infringment.  No need to be disappointed. I have been flag as well.  It is all part of the process.  And if i can accept being flagged then I can also except the responsibility to monitor.  t is a community and we all have to follow the rules.
