Do you believe that your religion is the only way to get to Heaven?
I believe in doing and thinking good things, help others whatever way you can, without any expectation as reward. If you get rewarded it's okay, if it is not rewarded also okay. These can be done in any religion. Whatever you do whether good or bad, will always follow you on your last journey, which decides where you go.
That is what religions say. In fact being good towards people pave the way for Heaven.. and the truth is that is what every religion in the world says - "be good - humanity"...
I don't believe there is a "religion" that gets anyone into heaven. We must remember that "religion" is mans attempt to reach out to God.
However, I do believe in a Transcendent and Personal God who reached down from heaven towards mankind and offered the only solution for man to get to heaven.
The solution is to Trust, Confide and Rely on the work that was finished at the Cross at Calvary in which Jesus, the Son of God, took the sins of mankind upon himself and nailed them to a cross so that all who place their hope in His sacrifice have open access to be with God for all eternity and reign with Him forevermore.
This faith depends solely on the grace of God Almighty and His holy work to get us into heaven. There is no other ticket, no other good work that any of us could ever do to be able to enter into His presence. All mankinds works and deeds compared to God are but filthy rags. Mankind has no ability to earn eternal domain in heaven.
Therefore, trust, confidence and total dependence upon God is the faith that will allow us to enter into eternal bliss with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
I believe that God is a parent, who loves us and wants what is best for us. He appreciates his children trying to do what's right and reach out to him, that's all that religion is. I don't believe in organised religion myself, I think we should just be good people and try to do what's right. I think all religions can be a path to God and heaven, as long as people are good.
The Christian Evangelists have the arrogance to tell us that.
However, I do believe God would consider Him a failure, if he cannot get all of us to Heaven. God can never fail.
Religion has be the root of many unGodly deeds.
When the dust settles religion does not matter.
Ofcourse yes, if it is not the only way to the heaven I wouldn't believe and would search different one which can lead me to the heaven.
NO. All religions lead one to God. There was one great saint in Bengal in India. His name is Ramakrishna Paramahamsa. Swami Vivekananda is his disciple. This saint has practiced each religious tenets during some periods in his life and found that Christianity, Islam, Buddhism or Hinduism all lead to God, he asserted this practically. Only thing is we should understand our own religions more and practice the belief perfectly. Then ultimately, each one will reach God whether he belongs to any religion or region.
