There is only about a 20% chance every month for a healthy woman to become pregnant. One of the many reasons why child birth is called a miracle.
A couple that I knew tried for three years to have a baby. They were successful two times but both pregnancies ended in miscarriage. She was told that she was unable to have children after that due to complications. They divorced and she went on with her life. She met a man, fell in love and now has a son. Sometime it's just a matter of being in the right situation at the right time.
One or the other of the couple is unhealthy in that regard, even though "otherwise healthy".
Childbirth is NOT a fricking miracle. Any female cat, rat, or dog can do it (if otherwise healthy).
BTW, if you are religious, consider that "God" is telling you something.
There is a small window of time as to when a woman can actually get pregnant - exactly from the 7th to the 14th day from the LAST day of her period.
Sometimes focusing on it too much and stressing makes it not happen either. Relaxing and not worrying about it is helpful.
I agree too that the time may just not be right either.

couples? It seems that in this strongly pronatalist society, there is still the underlying premise, the more, the better. People are continuously exhorted to have children by their parents, friends, religion, relatives, and the outer society. Oftentimes, many people have children much...

As a person raised to believe in the message that has been preached for years about God and Jesus, and what they can do, and how merciful they are, I have never been able to understand why people continue to pray to God, when He doesn't prevent something He could have, clearly, prevented,...

Why are designers making high-heels so high we cannot walk in them? This season I am seeing in almost every shoe-store in Australia the kind of high-heels I'd love to wear, if only they weren't too high! I love my heels, but why oh why are they making them so high that I'd be to scared to try...
