Do you really think that law of attraction actually works?Just share what do you think about LOA
This was a previous answer posted to the same question-
The "science" of the "law of attraction"- I am curious about how someone who experienced the recent earthquake in Haiti, and lost all they had, would answer this question. Did their thoughts attract this circumstance?
When Christopher Reeves lived and died paralyzed...did his thoughts attract this state of health? Or Michael J. Fox, did he attract Parkinson's? Did JonBenét Ramsey at the age of 6 attract murder? What was she thinking that attracted this event?
Out of a population of 1.8 billion children from developing nations, 56% live in poverty. In Sub-Saharan Africa and Southern Asia this number increased to over 80%, with the rural children from these areas the worst affected"(wikipedia)...what were they thinking to attract poverty?
"What makes this book and system unique is that it offers a practical technique to overcome one's resistance to change. In his presentation Michael told the audience about the numerous times he had been told to "just allow it" when he asked about how to overcome resistance to change" (http://hubpages.com/hub/law_of_attraction_by_micha
I wonder how resistant any of the people mentioned above are to changing their lives?
I guess the most important thing about the "law of attraction" is how difficult it is to believe...especially in light of extraordinary evidence against the "science" behind it.
sometimes I tend to believe it is for most social outcomes, but for tragedy, ti is hard for me to believe that way!
yeah, i guess... if physical
if intimate understanding... it takes time
Yes. I do think that the law of attraction really works, only because I've been studying it for many years now.
It took me a really long time to know that, LOA is not what you think about its what you feel about that brings you what you want.
When it comes to a national tradgedy, like the Haitian earthquake, it is a whole group that brings the LOA into action, because of group conciousness. Is a group used to tradgedies, wanting more tradgedies, or perhaps its the only thing they know how to call forth....Is a group like America looking to view other peoples sorrows like those in Haiti to make them continue to feel better? The LOA is a very intricate thing that keeps all possibilities in order, allowing for everyone to have a unique experience, but everyone usually calls forth the same results. Or, at least, this is the way I see it working...
Anyway, the main thing ive learned about LOA and reading ALOT of books about it, is that I did not need to read ALOT of books about it....I only had to do what one of the books said and that would be it.....
Ask, believe, receive, focus, praise...thats it....but it takes practice for me to remember thats all I have to do.
If applied properly, yes I do believe it can work. I watched this video series and it changed my whole perception on The Law of Attraction

I was able to understand it better and apply it too my life in a more effective way. It's the reason for me making additional strides in my personal and professional life. When I need inspiration I look at these videos to get myself back on track.
Hi, I do think the Law of Attraction works, but I think it's often misused or misunderstood. We attract what we focus on in a general way, so if we focus on trouble, we get more trouble, but if we focus on blessings, we get more of those. What doesn't work is to make a practice of what I call "desperate affirmation," where you are really consumed by some lack and keep repeating, for instance, "I have all the money I need." While the words suggest abundance, you might still be attracting lack by the underlying anxiety. It's better to simply be aware of what's going on around you, deal with any problems as matter-of -factly as you can and keep your focus on what's good. Case in point: I had to get a practically new tire patched the other day and started to get upset about it, but then I realized how much safer my son would be going on a long drive than if the nail in the tire hadn't been discovered. Time to give thanks, not complain! What will I attract? Continued safe driving for my son and me, maybe, but if I'd focused on the nail instead, I guarantee you I'd end up with more tire problems soon, or maybe a nail in my foot!
Sure the law of attraction exist, and yes it operates on so may different levels of our lives, in so many ways, at times it gets really scary.
As Priscilla_Bee said sometimes its the race consciousness which helps to create a community reality. Consequently its not so much what you think but more of what you identify with that will attract you reality. Then there is the next aspect of LOA which is interpretation i.e some experiences in general terms may be considered negative. However it might just be a part of the rebirth or renewal process, an opportunity for change and renewed growth. That however is left up to interpretation.
The mere fact that this post has come up at this time is proof that the law of attraction works.
I think the law of attraction workes but you have to make it work for you.
I think....You cannot just define this to a YES or NO. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. I think people with a steady mind don't follow LOA most of the times, whereas people who are just restless get indulged. That's what I say.
True! LOA really works. http://hubpages.com/hub/Law-Of-Attraction-True-Secrets.
