The best way to get rid of a hangover is surprisingly to have an alcoholic drink. This is called, "hair of the dog".
Other more practical methods of getting rid of a hangover is to wait it out. Your kidney has to process the alcohol and it needs time. You should keep up your fluids like water and try to eat if you can. But a good sleep will probably be your best friend when you are nursing a hangover.
The best way to get rid of a hangover is to not drink in the first place

If you think you are going to have a hangover after a night of drinking then right before you go to bed drink a powerade or gatorade and take some aspirin. This usaully keeps the hangover from getting that bad. You can also do this after you wake up but it is not as effective.
bread or dry foods like dark meat chicken lots of warter
A hangover is an indication of mild alcohol poisoning. There are three things you should do:
1. Eat or drink something salty, like chicken noodle soup. This will help to resupply the sodium content in your body and other electrolytes, this will help you rehydrate.
2. Eat or drink something sweet. Sugar will metabolize quickly and will aid your body in metabolizing any alcohol left in the body.
3. Drink a lot of water, you need hydration and you should drink as much water as possible, this will help your body expel any poisons in your body.
Do not take analgesics such as tylenol or ibuprofen, these are hard on the liver and kidneys. When your body is recovering from too much alcohol, the kidneys and liver are being overworked.
