What Is The Best Way To Avoid A Hangover? What can you do before drinking that will lessen the chances of a hangover?

Old folks used to say tea is the best hangover and I definitely agree because tea helps you to filter the alcohol toxin by flushing them out in your urine.

Have a full meal before you go out (I used to have a large plate of fish pie) and continue to pick / eat during the 'session.'

In addition, a doctor once told me to leave a pint of water and an aspirin by the bedside (before going out to the party) readily at hand to take before going to sleep - I kid you not!

I have used this many times and I have to say when I do this (minus the tablet!) I never suffer hangovers. It also helps to drink a glass of water now and again in between drinks.

Never drink on an empty stomach, so make sure you eat something first, and alternate your glasses of wine (or whatever) with a glass of water. Also, make sure you rehydrate as soon as possible after your bingeing session, as alcohol is a potent diuretic and it's the dehydration that makes you feel so bad and hung over afterwards.

The easiest way to avoid a hangover is not to drink. But, if you do, make sure to have a glass of water each time that you have a drink. Eating some food is helpful as well so that you are not filling up on alcohol.

My philosophy is that everything should be done in moderation. If you have a drink or two, you're not going to have a hangover and your body will thank you.

Don't drink too much! Drink socially with a meal, and, hopefully, your friends/family will help curb you, if you have the kind of family/friends who are concerned about your welfare. Ask them to keep you accountable to an agreed on limit, if it's a problem for you.
Only you can place yourself in the environment where the drinking doesn't create a problem, right?

Drink water in between alcoholic drinks if you don't get too drunk to remember.

Drink a pint of water and take some berrocca and 2 paracetemol or 2 nurofen before going to bed.

There are three methods, my dear friend.
    1. Avoid alcohol
    2. Drink water and
    3. Stay drunk
Choice is yours. Best of luck.

I'm sure that this isn't the answer that you were looking for, but I'll say it anyway - stop drinking. I know a person that drank for 39 years, and got the occasional hang over. They've now stopped, and believe it or not they no longer get those nasty hangovers. Also by staying hydrated and by drinking plenty of water helps as well.
