   How does the winter make you feel?
   
   For myself the winter offers a sense of calmness.  I love the cold and the snow!!!  I always feel that is seems more quiet and peaceful when there is snow on the ground.  I would take winter over summer always!!!!

   I'm the opposite, I would take hot  over cold any day. I can't wait for the winter to be over every year. Too cold, gloomy, and depressing for me.

   The first snowfall of winter is always pretty but then the dark days and the cold start to get me down. I wrote about how to overcome the winter blues and I try to find ways to deal with the down days to make it better. I know they're going to come, so I may as well find ways to cope!

   I like the variety of weather but the days are very short here in Vancouver and mostly grey so I prefer summer.

   Winter, surly a great time of year. Here on the southern tip of Africa its the time where every thing turns green and comes alive we have awesome storms. This makes for great cuddling weather to me winter is the most romantic time of year. Great for white water rafting as well.

   I feel as good as always. If I'm outdoors, I'm freezing only. But it is often better than in the summer to break down from heat.

   Winter always makes me feel peaceful and zen. For some reason my sense of community and social responsibility is always stronger too.
   
   There's something a little magical about the winter seasons, knowing that things are in a cycle of life-death-rebirth and especially when it snows

    I would rather not have it so cold but generally, my system tends to prefer spring and fall/autumn to very hot or very cold.
    
    Winter's good for my skin in terms of breaking out but winter causes it to dry up.
    
    All in all, as long as the winter is not extreme, I feel great.

    I like snow but I do not like to be cold.  I would rather be hot and sweaty than cold and shivering.  I can always take cloths off and drink water to survive the heat but if you do not dress properly in the cold it can be very dangerous.

    Weird. We're supposed to get cold and snow. But because of a weather pattern called La Nina, the moisture and cold Candian air stay to the north. So there's only mild temperatures where I live and no snow. The way to beat the winter blahs is to stay active -- mentally and physically. Write more hubs, contribute to the HP forums or exercise.

    Ah!Winter season is best.It brings the memories,some memories which make us to laugh and some sad memories which often bring tears in our eyes.it is an emotional season but good too.

    I like winter. Unlike summer, you don't have much expectations so are unlikely to be disappointed. I live in Britain and we look forward to long hot summers that never materialise, instead it just rains. When you have nice days in winter it is a bonus.
    
    I like winter for the snow when it first appears, beautiful snow capped trees and mountains, frozen rivers and canals, a white, frosty landscape. I like wrapping up warm and going out for a walk in the country. I like a lovely log fire on a cold winters evening, warming your heart and mind as well as your body. And I like Christmas, which inextricably linked to winter in this part of the world.

    The winter makes me feel all sort's of emotions including a lot of sad ones. also feel it magnifies all of life's problems as well, but to go with that I love the snow and how everyone seems so full of life over the festive period young and old.

    i love winter time. as a family we go sledding, camping etc. and it brings us close together. also there is nothing more beautiful then how the outside looks after a fresh snowfall.

    I don't like winter. It makes me feel cold and lazy. The only thing I enjoy is freezing while waiting for a big white tail to walk by. Other than that, I miss seeing my house in daylight when I come home from work.

    I like the cold clear nights as the nightsky is spectacularly clear in Winter. Full Moon tonight and a Lunar Eclipse tomorrow is a sight to behold.

    I usually enjoy winter, but in the beginning I was feeling blue a little. My body has adjusted and I'm liking the early sunsets and increased time for relaxation.

    It makes me want to get out and exercise, but it makes me stiff and sore at the same time.
