The portions of the Bible  that have been determined by Bible scholars  to offer unreliable statements are available,in fact I purchased a book containing  almost all of them for less than $10,so you can easily decide for yourself if you want to trust any of them. Some of the writings appear  to be natural extensions of the current Bible content while others offer imaginative stories such as the account of young  Jesus killing a neighborhood boy and then threatening to kill his parents.

The Bible that is recognized as authentic is sufficiently long and detailed enough to satisfy your interest and curiosity for years  to come at which time you can begin to read it again to refresh your memory and find new meanings that you missed on your first reading.

After the death of Yeshua our L-rd, the disciples of Yeshua continued in their journey to convert many Gentiles to salvation and trained others to follow after their departure. The task was great for many worshiped false God's and gave their pledge to ruling authorities. The Roman Empire would torture and execute all to follow the teachings of Yeshua for fear of the fall of their power. It is very frightening to the spirit of one with no faith in G-d, when to witness another laying fearlessly down his life for G-d. This frightened the Roman Empire. “The loyalty of the Israelites”.The converted Gentiles began to populate throughout time, generating mass multitudes. During the fall of the Roman Empire, the Romans decided to use religion in order to continue and maintain as a powerful empire. The artistic achievements of both the Romans and from their Greek contributions, the Romans being acclaimed to having most of the educated and elite citizens gave to them an affordable opportunity; using religion as their new found power, missionaries were sent throughout the provinces as disciples but using G-d word not for salvation but through twisted treachery to fuel power for themselves. Many could not read so therefore relied on the priests to answer any question before G-d on their behalf, those able to read, the King James Bible was written and scriptures omitted, the terminology inscripted for to confuse information so not to completely understand, so that one would not gain to much faith over the empire but still rely upon the rulers that be.

Michelangelo, Picasso and da Vinci were the few of many artist that contributed to the works of the Roman Empire during the beginning of the Pre-Christian Rome. The artist were threatened by pain of death if not to participate in the sculpture and paintings of biblical material. The ancient biblical paintings done of Michelangelo, the holy men of the bible were done by models from men drinking in Pubs “Taverns”. These artist did not want to do this work for the Roman Empire but feared the consequences.

The early church leaders had many documents to choose from.  They couldn't include them all... and some of them were obviously not "God-inspired."  They attempted to put all the God-inspired books in the bible... and keep all the other ones out.   You can still read many of the ones not included, and they are interesting... such as the Gospel of Judas.  Many people think the Bible was just written by "man."  However, Christians know men wrote "as they were led by God" to write.  Here is one proof of that.  If you google a man called IVAN PANIN, you will read about a Russian ATHIEST man (in the 1900's) who knew the Hebrew language, and was a mathmatical genius.  He used those skills to discover an AMAZING mathmatical structure in every book of the Bible.  He became a Christian and devoted the rest of his life to this research.  Truly a remarkable discovery that most people know nothing about. He wrote more than 80,000 pages of these mathmatical "coincidences".  It proves the Bible could only have been written by God.  That is why we don't have the right to decide what went into the Bible.

The Catholic Church, through her Popes and Councils, gathered together the separate books that early Christians venerated; formed a collection (i.e. drew up a list or catalog of inspired and apostolic writings) and declared that only these were the Sacred Scriptures of the New Testament along with the Alexandrian Canon (aka Septuagint) of the Old Testament. The authorities responsible for settling and closing the "Canon" of Holy Scripture were the Councils of Hippo (393) and of Carthage (397 and 416) under the influence of St. Augustine (at the latter of which two Legatees were present from the Pope), and the Popes Innocent I in 405, and Gelasius, 494, both of whom issued lists of Sacred Scripture identical with that fixed by the Councils. The Church never admitted any other; and at the Council of Florence in the fifteenth century, and the Council of Trent in the sixteenth, and the Council of the Vatican (Vatican I) in the nineteenth, she renewed her anathemas against all who should deny or dispute this collection of books as the inspired word of God

William asked this questions about the books of the Bible that are mentioned over and over in the Old Testament, but were left out of the English and Greek Bibles.
The Prophets used these books and talked about them. Most people miss this fact.
Just because Theologians allowed books in the Bible does not make them of God, and vice versa.

I imagine some writings were lost and some were left out on purpose to control what people believe.

    Read my hub about it
