I don't deny any, unless it was just something completely crazy! Even then I just might allow it. Feel free to let me know what your thinkging any time!
I delete those that offends me, but so far I had done so just twice with the same person
I have never denied any comment YET !!
If there was an offensive comment I would deny it ..so far so good though
Those that don't add value to hub experience. I haven't declined any comment yet.
I get some really stupid, unnecessary comments like 'I need a bf/gf' on my hubs, I deny those kinda comments!
I will do when it's not logic & doesn't related to the subject.
Any negative comments that's rude out of place and that tries to oppose my hub. I deny it because surely i would have a plaster for that soar. I prefer not have arguments on my hubs... so i may take you into a private forum.
My thing is if you don't like my hubs don't read it. But don't you read it and tell me i shouldn't talk about this or that.... You'd see my other side
Well I will normally deny a comment that hás nothing to do with the subject of the hub or does not bring any value to the hubbers community.
Comments that insult my Mother will not be tolerated, they will, however, earn folks a "special visit." All other comments get you not visit, but are always honoured.
I have accepted all the comments so far. The only comments that I wouldn't accept are spam and offensive comments
Mainly spam and self-promotional posts. But I would remove abussive comments if I got any.
If I got obvious spam I would likely delete that. Otherwise I like to let fools and idiots prove their stupidity with their comments.
I haven't denied any yet. They've all been really sweet and supportive. Of course, I haven't gotten that many yet. I'd like to think I'd be big enough to not deny anyone their opinion, if it differs from mine, but I don't really write about controversial stuff, anyway. Spam and obviously unrelated comments would be denied, though, for sure.
I haven't had the occasion to deny a comment as of yet. I would only do so if it was grossly inappropriate for the community.
those comments which have links and some comments with lot of links and spamming one i deny
I haven't denied any comments but only ones that are spam
I almost asked this question myself. When I first started writing for hubpages I accepted every comment eagerly and never considered denying any of them.
Now that I have been writing for a year, I receive at least 1-5 comments daily. Many of the comments I receive relate to requests for an interpretation of a dream. Sometimes the dream is relevant to the hub, sometimes it is not. Sometimes I am unable to understand the comment due to grammatical and spelling errors. If the comment was written by a fellow hubber, I can contact them but most of these comments I have received are from anonymous commenters. I have not denied them but have not approved them either because I am not sure how to reply and their comments request feedback from me.
I haven't made a decision yet about which comments to deny but I certainly have received many comments that are requests I do not understand or know what to do with.
This question was helpful since I could understand what others had to say. I agree with the others- if a comment was profane, violated hubpages rules, or was inappropriate for minors reading my hubs I would deny it. Luckily, I have not received any such comments.
I definitely see both sides. On one hand, approving all comments and supporting our readers should be our goal.. On the other hand, some comments could be confusing or unrelated which could affect other readers who read the hub. I

I am curious how other hubers deal with comments made by others on their hubs. I don't want to censor people or delete comments I disagree with, but at the same time I'd like to promote healthy discussion on my guides and not spread poor information around.I wrote a guide on how to set up IRC...

What does it mean when your comment does not post immediately on a hub but you can see that others do? Is it related to the "accept or deny" buttons in the comment section on our page? Seems there's another level of regulation I'm missing because it doesn't happen every time. Some...

Did you ever deny a comment or two from your hub? And if yes, why?

Do you accept or deny comments that leave a link to someone's website?I don't mind people leaving a link to one of their hubs but I don't know about people leaving a link to their own website.

Do you all ever get soooo many negative comments on a single hub that you just get tired of dealing with it? If it was all positive comments that wouldn't bother me, heck I even like a good debate from time to time...but to have hundreds of comments from random people trying to shame my writing or...

If I am not wrong comments were moderated before we were given the chance to view them and choose to accept or deny it, at least in case of unregistered users. Am I wrong in thinking this was the case and it was just something on QnA?If it was, is this no longer the case?I have been getting a lot...
