When was the last time you gave your writing space an overhaul and why?

i just completely changed my space and it feels great...i moved it from my bedroom and into the living room because I now realize I can create and write in the midst of the life stuff..better..as opposed to being locked away form it all!

In January.... it was part of my New Years "get everything organized"   the clutter had started to overtake everything.  So for my santity I had to organize and to some extent overhaul.  I actually wrote about my experience.   I have a home office because I do more than write, but I also have a desk (small table) in my family room where I do a great deal of writing----have laptop will travel..LOL.   Great question... it is one that will make one stop and think.

My bedroom is also my place of comfort when writing. Though the inspiritation to write have sometimes come when sitting in a meeting or looking at a movie.  I have found that as a writer the passion to pick up a pen can hit at anytime. I feel closer to my thoughts when using a pen. Moving to different areas of the house may very well stir up the gift. Good question Karen.

It had been way too long.  The last time was when we were having company I'm sure.  My desk is a mess, but I know where everything is.  Maybe sometime in March.

I write a lot at my computer which is a desk top. Lately  I have thought of getting a laptop so I can write in different places and not have to re copy everything into the computer. I get ideas when I am out and write them on scraps of paper. But since I am a bit scattered often I lose the bits of paper and there go my brilliant ideas.
