If you were a sign, a road sign, which one would you be and why?

In find that in creative writing you don't need much inspiration, one line must be enough, even one word.  I used to ask people "What sign are you?" until I got that one "STOP".  The guy was very funny - he turned out to be a Libra and "STOP" was useful for making decisions which is a challenge for Libras.  I love "No Exit" and "U-Turn".  What about you?

At the moment, itd have to be one that said "go".

Yet I might think that it would be the whatever is on the speedlimit sign minus 5 kilometres. Dont like speeding fines.

Well, since "dangerous curves ahead" describes appearance rather than personality -- depending on the day, it's either "watch for falling rock" or "speed limit 75." The former because my life tends to be a study in Murphy's Law most of the time, and the latter because I tend to set my sights on my goals and charge after them at high speed (75mph is the fastest legal speed limit in my state).

If I were a road sign, I will probably be "The Give-Way Sign".

Equally appropriate whether in reference to people trying to deal with me or me trying to make sense of life. But then, that is what makes things so much fun.

As my profile says, I love two things: to drive and to write.
I drive a minimum of 50,000 km per year and I do pay attention to road signs. I only really care about one of them though and that sign is usually an electronic board over the highway which reads: "Drive according to conditions" - that's me.
I could care less if there's a road or not, I can always go off-roading and I will always keep going because I can adapt to my circumstances in such a way that I can always continue.

I suppose many would be applied by my friends to express how they see me in many different lights, however i see myself as a no U turn type of guy. Whats the point in going back as there will always be another turn off up ahead.

Fork up ahead. Choose carefully. One leads to heaven. One leads to hell. Hope you choose the right road up ahead of you. Smile. You're on Candid Camera.

Probably a Stop sign because thats kinda how I feel my life is right now. Stop - wait for passing traffic or pedestrians. I guess it could be a metaphor for me waiting for economic recovery so I can get a decent job.

    "road ends in water"

i live in a part of the country where the fed gov bought up a lot of ground to put in a lake that took our centuries old homesteads to feed a hydro-electric dam that they only run aprox 30 days a year because of the excesive fish kills,...

i also have a thing for the ocean,... and i like the idea that life crawled from it, and some day i will return t it,...

Without doubt I would choose to be a Stop/Halt sign. In that way I might save a life. I would also make people think, whether on the road or at a crossroads in life.
