In the scriptures we liken Israel to be like the Christians today, Exodus chapter 1:verses7-10 and the children of Israel were fruitful, and increased abundantly, and multiplied, and waxed mighty; and the land was filled with them. Now the there rose a new King over Egypt, which knew not Joseph and he said unto his people, Behold, the people of the children of Israel are more and mightier than we: (there was some fear attached)

   The Ice Man by Philip Carlo.........was one book I couldn't put down but I couldn't eat for 3 days afterwards.  Really gruesome to say the least.

   A book about the Amityville Horror. It was supposed to be a historical account. I couldn't finish it. Didn't even like holding it. Threw it away, I think.

    stephen king's "pet cemetery"...and also one called "ghost", but I'm not sure of the author. pet cemetery made the short hairs on the back of neck stand on end.

    Books (or most anything for that matter) don't actually scare me. But some good horror literature includes Stephen King (obviously), H.P. Lovecraft, Clive Barker, Charles Baudelaire, Edgar Allen Poe, and so, so many more...

    Among the books I've read, I'd say the last book of the Bible - the book of Revelations.
