What is your view on this 2012 thing?

Does Harold Camping disappointing prediction make you think otherwise in comparison to predictions?

Well I am not sure...but as far as 2012...The Mayan , the Chinese, The Hopi, and the Knights templar all predicted the end of ages not only in 2012....but Dec 21st 2012. The hopi say it is the end of the 5th age, and that at the end of the last age is when the dinosaurs perished. I believe some will survive, but I believe we are in for a culling of the heard so to speak.

With all the natural disasters happening, it seems to be a sign that a new evolution might begin and current human race might be affected.

All these seem to lead us in the direction of mankind creating our own doomsday. Whether or not we can survive in generation to come, it will be what actions are we taking now. If nothing good is to carry out then chances will lead us to our doomsday.

We know that resources are running out by the years and if we do not treasure of not wasting up then the outcome will be unimaginable.

I will not be seeing this effect unless 2012 comes true. But through re-carnation of life, it will be witnessed in time to come.

I think predicting the exact date the world will end is pretty ridiculous. I'm not religious, and therefore don't technically believe that the world will definitely end someday, but I do think that humans have the capability to ruin the earth and maybe, eventually, make it uninhabitable. I've also heard from many religious people that the bible says that no man can predict the end of the world because Jesus will begin rapture or whatever when no one expects it. I think 2012 is a rgeat storyline for movies and maybe as a scary story, but for now I think we should focus on getting the world back on track.

Students of history have seen this many times.  Dates for the "end" have come and gone many times in my lifetime.  I will just wait and see and gladly go with the flow if it is the big end.

I think it is interesting. I own and have read a couple good books on it from curiosity, yet haven't formed any view.  Since then I am fortunately or unfortunately just to busy to concern myself with it. Maybe one late night when I may have a spark to review & write on it. And, I don't know who Camping is.

Only God knows when the world will meet judgment and come to an end. No man or beast on earth and no living being in Heaven or Hell knows when, ONLY God. Don't fall for false prophets. It's stated in the Bible only God knows. He gives a signs to look for, but that's about it. I can tell you this though, Their are several years between Jesus' second coming and judgment day so 2012 is impossible.
