   Do You Want To Know?
   
   We all have to face the inevitable that our life will one day end. But would you rather know in advance or not?  For me personally I would like to know so that I could prepare and say goodbyes properly. But what do you feel?

   To Juneaukid, you obviously are on the younger side. My grandmother passed at 99 years of age.  I think she felt pretty young at 74, and it would have mattered to her just the same:)  I don't want to know..I'd rather live each day as though it is my last.

   I'm on the fence. In a lot of ways I'd like to know in order to prepare but in other ways I'd be scared and be wanting more time.

   A very small part of me says yes but the rest of me says absolutely no. I would rather live expecting a long ripe old age to come upon me.

   No, I don't want to know.  Knowing the day in advance will do me know good but make me feel upset  a great deal. I would rather live each day as it comes and enjoy my life to the best way I can.

   yeah I think I want to know...
   So I can start writing down plans about certain things that only when you're dying, was the time that you'll get enough guts to do...

   What matters for me is that i were to take every opportunity to share Christ with those God desires me to so when it is that time i can enjoy all of them in God's Kingdom with me... I think I would not want to know because of the stress-er of how that follows the answer of when... To love as much as i can, so that I can leave a legacy of such Love to be remembered and enjoyed by those who are closes to me. No need for goodbyes, just temporary separation until the fullness of time when we all who believe are reunited at the wedding supper of the Lamb...

   Hi Seeker7. This is tough. I agree that knowing when I'll die could help me prepare and do things properly. It might be beneficial for me, but I'm not sure if this would benefit my family. I've just thought of those families who have a sick and dying family member. People in this kind of situation sort of know when they'll die. It's a torture for the family to see their loved one suffering and dying. They have to wake up each day knowing that their loved one is nearing death. On the other hand, families of people who had died from accidents are equally miserable but at least they don't have to undergo those long and painful days. Maybe I'd rather not know. Perhaps this is something that I'll just leave to God. I don't want to dread each day. But I'm not really sure. All I know is that I want to die peacefully without regrets. And I want my family to feel no regrets, too.

   I do not like to know, I always can do my best, if I know that my life can end any time.
   Maybe If I know when I will die, I harm some people saying I still  have the time to solve the issue.

    i would never want to know. death to me should either be a surprise or at least not expected but possible. if i new in advance, i think i might go out in a blaze of glory and take some serious scum-bags with me.

    I thought you were going to ask if Bigfoot was real, then my answer would be yes, I want to know.
    
    On a serious note, I would like to know in advance when I was going to die.  I would plan a really large party and enjoy it.

    Yes i would want to know, that way i would only have to  save enough money to live my life and not have to worry about saving more than i need.

    It has pros and cons.
    
    Pros: You can manage all business before "it".
    
    Cons: Brrr....
