How to improve punctuality in work?
I just got a verbal memo from one of our bosses here in the office after he'd seen my DTR (Daily Time Record) with so many lates. He did not get so mad but I saw it in his face that he was annoyed. My problem is, it's really hard for me to wake up in the morning.. What can I do?
I'm totally the same. I have two alarms in my bedroom just to make sure I wake up - one on my desk and I use my iPhone as the other.
One of my friends told me about clocky. Its a mobile alarm clock that actually moves away from you once it goes off...kind of hard to not get out of bed when your alarm clock is on the run.
Hi, There are many different ways that you can use, and it will depend on the person and their lifestyle, which on will work.
@ Go to bed earlier, if you do this you may find you will work up earlier
@ Do not drink caffeine drinks late on in evening, by doing this you will sleep better
@ Set your alarm clock to go off an hour earlier
@ Have a friend phone you to get you up and then pick you up for work, and if you are not there waiting ask them to drive away
@ Make a note and pin it up in the bathroom or bedroom and say on it, if I am late for work, I will loose my job, maybe the fear of loosing a job will make you be there on time
Hope this helps

With all due respect and I am not trying to be snotty--but you have to do what you have to do. It might be hard to get up in the morning--but do it. In today's economy, be thankful to have a job and who your gratitude by being the best employee there is.
If you need an hour to get ready for work, set up 90 minutes so that you can sit and have breakfast and wake up.
You can do it. Lots of things in life are hard, but we do them anyway. It is what makes someone responsible versus irresponsible or flaky.

Do you need an alarm to wake you up?Now that we are a 24/7 society, do you rely on an alarm to wake you up or do you wake up naturally?

Could you train yourself to -easily-wake up an hour earlier?Just imagine how much you can achieve with an extra hour daily, so long as you can be productive, of course.Could you train yourself to do that, and how difficult would you find it? How long will it take you to be able to wake up...
