Do you think the "Wolf technique" is the best training method for dogs?
If you mean techniques based on behavior within wolf packs ("alpha roll", strong corrections) - no. Though it is important to be in the dominant position in the pack (you're the alpha), dogs respond better to more positive training techniques, such as positive reinforcement.
I clicker train my own dog, using a "clicker," a noisemaker, to indicate good behaviors and then rewarding with a dog treat. Not only does this result in a more positive bond between my dog and I, it also makes my dog more likely to present behaviors and enjoy training.
That's not to say that you shouldn't be dominant over your dog, it's just that dominance isn't helpful in training. So though you should definitely firmly correct your dog when he growls at another dog, you shouldn't when he doesn't heel. Instead, reward him when he does heel (positive reinforcement training).
Hope this helps!

The best technique for training a dog or another animal that we might take care of is:
Pure Love; Care & share a little of us with them (they also carry feelings);
This will show to them that we are also there to be their friends & that will make them do better whatever you might want them to do.
Best wishes

actually, i do. many owners can make cowards out of their dogs by spanking them. discipling a dog in the same manner you would a wolf teaches the dog he has done wrong in a way that is not frightening. the wolf method deals with canines in a way they can recognize and understand...it isnt confusing to them. so yes, i do think it works well on dogs...i have used it with great success on my dogs. great question, btw.

However after a couple months of training she has not improved at all (she's almost 3yrs). She chews up stuff, goes...
