   The early morning wake-ups when they gotta' pee or are hungry.  I have a bird, a Quaker Parrot, and he is squawking at 0700 no matter what day it is and regardless of my activities the night before!

   When you come home, they act like you have left for years. They give you kisses and love without you having to ask for it. And they always know when your upset.

   Without a doubt, it is the unconditional love that a pet gives over and over; the beyond-excited greetings you get when you walk in the door; and the cuddling as close to my lap as possible to sleep while I watch tv.

   For me, it is about enjoying relationships with friends.  Getting to know the personality of another living creature is not only immensely rewarding, but very entertaining.

   their unconditional love, the way they sense when something's wrong and their vulnerability. They trust sooo much that you will love and take care of them. They're also incredibly amusing!!

   I love the interactions with these little creatures that are like people. I can talk to them and they talk (meow) back. They make me feel needed and loved. I like it when they sit on the couch with me and watch TV with me. I feel good giving my pets a home when I think about how they used to be in a shelter before. And their personalities are amazing! They have their likes and dislikes... They're really just like little people.

    They are always exited to see you, even if you have only left the room for a few minutes. Pets make you feel special.

    Absolutely "NOTHING" I think they are all a waste of money, time and energy and they give nothing for the care provided them.

    The greeting you get when you come home, affection, and love is just fantastic. Thinking about getting rid of my wife and getting a couple more dogs. Meet Chloe, our 4 year old.
