If you were a dog what kind of dog would you be?

People often say that owners come to look like their dogs...or do they choose them because they're already alike? What kind would you be?

A big dog.........a protective one, one that you would entrust the safety of your home, your vehicle, your yard, and even your child to.............Oh yes, I would have the muscle, the speed, the agility, the teeth to back up my belly groaning growl...........no senseless yapping or barking for me...........

My growl is your only and final warning.  As a dog..........my bite would be far worse than my bark.

I would be a useful dog, not a show dog, not a pampered, carry me in your purse or pocket dog.

My owners would pay me attention, give me treats, teach me to behave in the family unit, and give me a comfortable bed.................no sleeping the backyard rain for me...........I am worth my keep!

Probably a german rottie, as I seem to be bold and stubborn.

I would a short haired mutt.  I would love to play fetch and would pee on people I don't like, unless you train me not to.   During winter I would stay and the back door and shiver until you let me in..    If you leave the backyard gate open, then I will be exploring the neighbors flower garden.  I would chase cars until they stop and then I would run away.

If I were a dog, I would be a cocker spaniel.  We had one when I was a kid and later had one when I got married.  They are the cutest, friendliest, sweetest pets to have.
