Which is more important to you personally: writing quality Hubs or publishing 30 Hubs in 30 days?

Writing quality is more important - but 30 quality ones in 30 days will be awesome

As much as I enjoy writing, I probably could manage to write 30 articles in 30 days on hubpages. But first off, I wouldn't be able to devote every day to a new hub. And besides the quality of these hubs would not be nearly as good if I were to write two to three hubs per week, lets say. So to answer your question-writing a higer quality hub is more important to me to share with my audience.

What matters for me is to write quality hubs. Like I always believe it is better to consume a teaspoon of cow's milk rather than barrels of donkey milk!

I write when inspired. If the inspiration happens to come 30 times in 30 days....then fine! smile

I wish to write quality 30 hubs in 30 days! I know that is quite not possible for me, but still would try to work towards it.

I think it's possible to do both! Spending a long time on a hub doesn't ensure it will be of a high quality. Writing a hub in one day doesn't automatically mean it will be of a low quality either.

I just finished a 30-day challenge at another site. I'd never done one before and wanted to see what it was like. I knew after I published my second article on day 2 that I wasn't going to write 30 articles in 30 days. It typically takes me a good 5 hours or more to write an article or hub, many of which  are 800+ words. Plus, I edit with a fine-tooth comb, so it often takes me several days to write and publish a hub. Trying to do an article a day was nerve-racking. I didn't enjoy it at all, and I want to enjoy writing so it doesn't feel like "work." I ended up publishing 6 articles during that 30-day challenge and am sure I won't be doing another one.

I'm almost done with my 30 in 30 and I think the hubs I produce are quality hubs.  I spend a ton of time on them.  It's way more important to produce quality content than finish 30 in 30. I would definitely lose the challenge before I would publish a poorly-written hub.

For me writing quality posts is more important than 30 hubs in 30 days, quality hubs are evergreen and will earn you more than low quality  hubs.

Personally, quality hubs is more important than publishing 30 hubs in 30 days...but just as sasanqua said, it's not impossible to do both...when publishing 30 hubs in 30 days with quality hubs is possible for many hubbers out there, it can and should be encouraged...

Quality to me comes from my inspiration, so, it will not be 30 hubs in 30 days if the time and inspiration are not here, then it could be 40 hubs in 25 days if I am inspired and have time to do a good job.

I will always prefer quality over quantity. If you want to give your readers a good reading then you must not compromise the quality factor. Writing 30 Hubs in 30 days is something very genius but its always better not to sacrifice the quality and value of your writing just to increase the number of Hubs!!!

I take so long to research, write and edit a hub that I think 30 hubs in 30 days would be too much for me to do. At present I work full time and only have around 3 hours free each evening. It takes me on average around 6-8 hours to publish a good quality hub. Personally I would rather write good quality hubs when I can that struggle to publish 30 in 30 days. Anyone who has the time to write 30 quality hubs in 30 days is doing fantastic.

If quality translates into 30 in 30, that would be awesome. However, it never does for me. I need time to think, edit, rearrange and sometimes even delete hubs if they just don't work. I know some people are eager to be hot on the market but I feel like what I do works.

I'm all about long-term quality because I hate reading, sorry to say it, crappy hubs.  There's something unappealing about hubs that people spent 5 minutes on.  If you can't even take the time to separate it into paragraphs, correct your grammar, or add images, "I can't take the time to read it."

For me it's quality every time. If someone writes 30 hubs in 30 days and much of it ends up as very poor quality then I think they have wasted their time. Having said that, I'm sure there are some Hubbers who can really rise to the challenge and produce quality as well as quantity!

But I think the sad fact is - and I agree with Faceless39 - there are many hubs written in about, I reckon, 5 or 10 minutes and they are awful! They are boring and are crappy and I don't read them. For me, people who produce low quality hubs of this nature couldn't care less about writing, entertaining or informing their readers all they care about is money.

I know it is possible to have high quality hubs and high quantity as well.  I just finished the 100 hubs in 30 days challenge yesterday.  You learn to make decisions faster, and not take as many breaks.  Most of the time, writing more hubs simply makes you focus better, concentrate, use your time more efficiently, and makes you stop wasting time.
