   Difficult question as many folks really do only have that and less time to live. Myself having a condition - Sarcoidosis - well I try live each day as 'normal' as possible, if I only had a week to live it would be the best way possible with my 14 and 17 year old sons.
   
   I don't usually answer questions like this but being quite ill during the last 18 months it bodes well with thoughts to my sons, who by the way don't live with me...

   1 week- unafraid of consequences. 5 years- determined to leave some kind of memory. Eternity- patiently biding my time. (I'd also try to get a big library, immortals tend to have really big libraries.)

   I guess when you're giving a finite time to live it makes you reconsider your priorities in life.
   
   I would refocus on my friends and family in any of the scenarios. In addition, with the 5 year and eternal time-frames, I would concentrate on what legacy I would leave on this Earth after I'm gone and spend most of my time working on that.

   I would surround myself with my loved ones.  I would make the proper amends I need to make to those I have hurt.  I would reassure my children that even though I am leaving this planet, that I am not gone for good, and that we will be together again.  I would affirm my love to them and remind them not to cry in my absence, to move forward with their lives and prosper.  And to always keep me close to their heart.
