My daughter asks me what do I think would be remembered 2000 years from now, any suggestions?
I already answer her, would love to hear your take on the matter.
I hope it is that while we were a very war-like society at the time we overcame that disposition and laid the groundwork for a peaceful world. I also suspect we'll be remembered for some fantastic composers, authors and entertainers and our delicious cuisine!
Well, it kind of depends on how old she is. This will of course affect how in depth you explain your thoughts on the matter.
It's difficult to say, since the priorities of societies change with time. For example, in 2000 years humanity may have suffered a disaster and be living in a post-apocalyptic society, in which case the past may not hold as much interest to them as mere survival.
Or in 2000 years, technology may be (most likely will be) at the point where our way of life seems a quaint novelty. Future archaeologists and historians will pore over our written records, our buildings, our art, music and literature and marvel at how undeveloped we were.
I hope that we continue down a road where making the world a better place for all beings living on it is a priority-human, animal, plant. I hope that this is what we will be remembered for.
What do you remember from 2000 yrs ago? My answer would be Earth existed with people that couldn't get along.
If people are still here, I imagine an answer might be cars. I only say this because that is what we all remember. I wasn't how a house was built, or technology so much, but cars seem to be a non-stop growing competition.
I believe that 2000 years from now, some archaeologist will dig up my hard drive and go on to discover all of the dumb hubs I have written and all of the very naughty sites that I have visited. ;-)
The Wild West of the Internet, when information was free to give and receive, and all voices were equally valid. I'm assuming PIPA / SOPA and nations setting up DNS / website blocking and Twitter censoring tweets are the start of the Internet becoming as controlled as main stream media.

Do you think Jesus Christ already came 2000 years ago or is just about to come one of these days? Many argue about the identity of the one who came approx 2000 years ago. Some say He is God, some say He is a man. How about you, How much do you know?

Hi there,I was preparing a hub for publishing. After I finished my article, it has slightly more than 2000 words in total. So my question is, whether this article has the potential for getting more traffic or not?
