Would you go on a cruise again if you were involved in Costa Concordia wreck?

If you had been on a cruise that had an experience like the recent Costa Concordia cruise ship wreck, would you ever go on a cruise again?  Yes or No?  Why or Why Not?  Or would it make no difference at all to you?

Yeah, for sure smile In Indonesia we took a ferry which looks more than worse than this big boat and it was way more dangerous wink

I would most definately go on another one!!!!  Life is too short to sit on the side lines and count the what if's.  There's a chance I could get hit by a car on my way to work every day but I still get out there an go.  Dissasters happen but that can't stop you from doing what you love or want to do.  Would I be a little nervous, probably, I would most definately be more aware of what to do in case of another accident.  I wouldn't let anything stop me from doing what I love!

There would be no way I would get on a shop again after surviving that.  I will most likely never fly again either (even though I have never been in a wreck before).

I've been on many cruises, but I've never been in a shipwreck. I've been on ships that had mechanical troubles that were minor inconveniences, but nothing drastic.  I was in a plane crash in 1973 and it took over 14 years for me to get back on a plane again.  I guess when it is all said and done, it really depends on the magnitude of the accident you were in, how you recover from it, and your future traveling companions - if they are supportive enough to get one cruising and flying again. :-)

No - one cruise ship goes down in I-don't-know-how-many years? The chances of it happening again are decreased because it's just happened, surely?

I don't care for cruises to begin with - too much like being trapped in a floating hotel, only with cigarette smoke wafting out of the bars and casinos in great quantities.  This accident doesn't lure me any closer to taking another cruise, but if I had to go on one, I wouldn't avoid it just due to this incident.
