If you go to a party and you don't drink, will you still have fun?
Do we really need alcohol to have fun?
My wife doesn't drive, so i am always the designated driver lol, It is possible to go to a party and not drink, the difficulties arise, when drunken people find something incredibly boring hillarious!, they want you to laugh at everything too. I suppose it all depends on the setting and the people attending.
As dadibobs said, it all depends on the people and the setting... I do not drink alcohol, and I have had a great time at a lot of parties - when I was surrounded by dear friends. So, I think it is possible, but not always. I also left a lot of parties because I was bored to death while others were having the time of their lives
I agree it depends. For example, if you're the only one not drunk, it will be boring, trust me. But I don't really need alcohol to have fun, most of the time.
People who need to drink to have fun must have something wrong with them. I don't drink, but I go to parties and always manage to enjoy myself.
I don't think we need to have alcohol to have fun. I have often gone to parties and sipped non-alcoholic drinks. The party should be about the festivities and gathering. Not the alcohol consumed.
I would not go to a party if they were serving alcohol. The Bible says that "wine is a mocker" and "strong drink is raging" and whoever partakes of it "is not wise". Alcohol is not needed to have fun. Drinking alcohol is a sin, and does not do anything good for you, only bad.
I am allergic to alcohol, so I never drink at parties and I have great fun. Of course I tend to go to parties where drinking is more social and not to just get drunk.
The parties I attend usually are unplanned get togethers around a campfire or at a neighbor's picnic table. Individuals are encouraged to bring their own and often the host traveler will supply an ice chest full of cold beers as well as soft drinks. The camaraderie we enjoy is based on conversations about our travels rather than what we are drinking. It's one of those things that draws me to the full time RVing lifestyle!
Nice...! I guess we all have our ways of celebrating...congrats!!
I enjoy parties without drinking alcohol. I can enjoy seeing the people and talking to them. I stopped drinking entirely when I was 24 yrs. and I feel great about it.
I had bad experiences with alcohol and my awareness about it just raised.
I think it's hard, but possible. I say it's hard because at some point almost everyone is probably quite "happy" and being a bit silly and the conversations quickly start making no sense whatsoever and most likely the same thing will be repeated ten times, which no one who is "happy" will notice, but the sober fellow will. Nonetheless I've had good times without drinking even one drop, just not that often...

Is breastfeeding and drinking alcohol okay or frowned upon in your eyes?Keeping in mind that no amount of alcohol is safe for a baby to be exposed to, is breastfeeding while drinking not a big deal or a potential harm to the baby in your eyes?

I have a friend that is 3 months pregnant and has been drinking alcohol like a fish! I haven't said anything to her because it is her body, her baby, and her choice. But I can't help but be angry with her every time I see her do this. I also feel guilty that by not saying...
