   What is the most annoying type of classmate you could have seated next to you in a college course?
   
   Here are a few ideas of what I'm talking about:
   1. The person who doesn't brush their teeth...ever.
   2. The person who breathes through their mouth constantly.
   3. The person who has some snarky or inane comment they must whisper every 30 seconds.
   4...and so on.
   
   What is the worst thing (in your opinion) another classmate can do that distracts you from learning?

   One who constantly talks.  It is distracting and keeps me from hearing what the teacher is saying...and then I get lower grades as a result!

   I'd choose your #3.  Very annoying when one really needs to listen to have someone trying to be funny.  College classes are expensive and it would be really annoying to have paid for the class and end up getting part education, part unwanted comedy routine.

   Someone who has to make a comment under his/her breath every time the professor said something. It would drive me insane and more than likely I would loudly point out his/her rudeness (I know...that would be rude of me too...but seriously)...

   Snifflers are probably my favorite rant when it comes to classroom companions. You know, the kind whom you would like to politely hand a large box of Kleenexes as a gentle hint. They always do it during tests when one would like to concentrate.
   
   The people who are always making smart remarks to the world in general also rank very high on the list. Thankfully, I haven't had any seatmates of the non-teeth-brushing variety. I can see that would have its painful moments as well. "Why is my nose in my armpit? Because it smells better than your breath." Of course, we would never say such a thing...

   I must say that the kids who browse Facebook all class and don't pay attention.  Or the girls who text all the time.  Seriously the Professors can't seriously that a girl smiles that much at her lap.

   odd noises of any kind... sucking teeth, heavy breathing, snorting, chuckling, clicking a pen cap, tapping a pencil, moving around, shuffling papers...
   
   Erroneous noises that are distracting.
