   Why does America consider full nudity in film pornography, while bloody, graphic killing is not?
   
   What has gone wrong with us when we consider bloody dismemberment, gore, and extreme physical and psychological abuse less objectionable than the natural human form?

   I'm not sure American considers all full nudity in film as pornography. Pornography is defined in the world dictionary as writings, pictures, films, etc, designed to stimulate sexual excitement.
   
   Hopefully graphic killing and gore does not excite those same senses.  Although, I agree that graphic violence is way over the top and very objectionable to me.

   Pornogrophy is sexual which is frowned upon in open society. It is best to keep those scenes at home and in the bedroom. However, violence is everywhere. Like it or not, violence has always been in any area. Outside, inside, beaches, buildings, classrooms, children, women, men, everywhere and everyone is vulnerable to it.
   And yes. I do believe something is wrong with the way our culture looks upon the two as both have faults in society. Sex is not openly talked about, so there are students who do not know what they are getting into and blindingly walk foreward. Killing can be considered an artform by many males and there is a lot of knowledge commonly given to the public about how to kill people.
   For example, I can go into a room and give at least three ways to kill someone or myself with each object. I'm only 19 so that is pretty sad when any teenager can kill someone.

   Some people like foreign films better for that exact reason more nudity and love scenes with less violence cause some people do not like to be scared when looking at a film for grown ups.  I under stand America does not want under age people thinking about sex.  Most video games children play is about killing stuff.  Me myself I don't like bloody movies or nudity in films.  disturbing
   Funny thing is I don't mind playing internet games with some sexy stuff or voilence in them. weird

   It's always been that way in America. The 17th Century Puritans in New England could not show their ankles in public, but slaughtered and mutilated Indians. I think there is a correlation between supressed sexuality and violence.

   Most of the TV shows I watch give a warning because they have violence.  Even cartoons meant for children are full of violence.  If you took away violence it would be much harder for people to come up with a story.  Since violence has been used for entertainment for a very long time it has become more acceptable.
   
   Nudity is less acceptable because of the way it is used.  It is often used to trigger a sexual response.  They see nudity at strip clubs or in adult movies.  I have seen a few movies that had nudity but were still rated PG.  However I do not think they showed full frontal nudity.
