            Abortion is an individual right of a woman.

            It is a direct choice of a woman.

      I think for most people making love is a private matter, but of course humans are a curious lot! We all want to know how we compare to others so pornography satisfies a curiosity. Beyond that it can be used as a tool for arousal. Myself, I've never need the extra help. I think sex feels good enough to want it all the time! LOL! Anyway it's big business 30 billion a year in the USA alone, I think. Interestingly the Romans were into it as well. Did you know the city of Pompeii had 41 brothels in a population that was 6,000! They had phallic symbols carved into the streets pointing toward them. The walls were decorated with copulating couples and orgies and even gay sex!

      I think it is a necessary necessity.  I'm all for it, and quite frankly I think it is a great help to many people/lovers who have trouble expressing themselves.  As for myself, the only "social issues" behind it, are the ones being invented by people who are insecure.

      Porn to me, is like any other drug or habit. I do not believe there is anything wrong with it, as long as all people (not kids...) give thier consent.
      Some people become obessed and it distorts their view.
      Some people could take it or leave it.
      Some people see it for what it is, entertainment.....not real life...
      I do not like being chosen scoend to porn....

   I say to each his own. I don't place any judgements on anyone for enjoying or not enjoying it. It has its place. I think like most things it can be abused, missued and in the wrong hands destructive. However so can alcohol, and I enjoy a glass of wine every now and then but then again I am a responsible adult. However take that same glass of wine and give it to an alcoholic or underage teenager and.....well u know the rest. It's all relative.

         Yeah, me three. I personally prefer a little more left to the imagination, but I don't have a problem with anyone else using porn as long as the porn in question involves consenting adults and the viewer uses it in appropriate ways.
         
         It DOES bother me that such a high percentage of porn actresses were physically and/or sexually abused as children or young women, but that's a problem with the industry, not with porn itself. I knew some girls in college who decided to make themselves an amateur porno on a whim and they were all well adjusted people and had fun making it. Others, of course, are not so lucky.

   i find more issue with violence  than i do with porn. the social impact is far worse with the desensitization of violence .than it is with sex. we are born naked . animals having sex is Americas funniest  videos . people having sex is porn.primitive culture nudity on discovery channel is acceptable but  attractive nudity is pornographic. moral based hypocrisy.

    It serves a purpose for a sneaky 15 minutes now and again, makes me feel a little guilty afterwards, but I dont think it becomes a problem unless it becomes an obsession. If you are spending 4 hours a night looking for porn, then it is ruining your life, if it helps you get off a couple of times a week then I cant see a major issue.
    
    Perhaps if I was to delve a lot deeper, I could say that it exploited people and supported drug habits etc etc, but I tend to think about cheerier things.

    I think for a lot of people, porn actually stops you from acting on sexual desires.  I mean, if you want to cheat on someone but you're at home looking at porn and masturbating, you will probably finish up yourself and not want to cheat anymore
    
    For example, without porn, I would probably try to hump everything that walked when I left my house lol j/k j/k
    
    Obviously, with anything, there are some people that are addicted to porn.  But no different than anything else.
    
    Here in the U.S., porn exists because we are so sheltered.  In other countries, nudity and sex aren't so taboo.

    I would be in favor of banning it outright. However, there is the problem of making laws that are unenforceable; I think this would be one that would be difficult (if not impossible) to enforce. Therefore, I would let community standards prevail. Some communities would be stricter about it than others. That would give people more options about what kind of community they would like to live in.
    
    Those that traffic kiddie porn, whether actual or simulated, is (or would be) criminal. I would make death a possible penalty for kiddie porn.
