   first of all is Jesus Christ and the Bible.  I also watched my parents as I grew up and they taught me a lot of moral values and ethics.  My grandmother on my Dad's side had a big influence on me as well.

   Why do I need a source?
   
   Why can't I use my own judgment as each situation presents itself?  I'm not saying that reading others opinions has no value, but I wouldn't consider any of them as an authoritative source. 
   
   Far more valuable has been my experience, living my own life and watching others live theirs.

   Many differing sources, starting with my old Jewish youth club leader (my adoptive mum, I adopted her!), (years of teaching how to get what you wanted) moving on the Jazz drummer whose 60's clothes boutique I worked in, (don't speak until they ask you for something) my parents "Just don't end up in jail son" (mum) "if you find a good copper (policeman) kill 'im before he turns bad", (my dad) and adding a plethora of East End characters who taught me to sell "If they ain't greedy son, you can't sell 'em nuthing" and (a classic) "If God hadden't made em to be sheared, He wouldn't 'av made em sheep" (both from a guy called Larry Lazenby Todd).
   
   Books wise I started at the Bhagavata Purana, and moved through every religious book I could find except the Bible,out of curiosity, and owe a lot to Geoffrey Household for 'Rough Shoot' and Bob Heinlein for every book he wrote and I read, but eventually the book that MOST changed my life at 42 years old was the Bible, when I finally dropped my aversion to opening it.
   
   All things we imbibe will assist, or inhibit our personal growth and development, physically and spiritually.
   
   Experiences can open or close our  minds and cause us to soar like eagles or skulk around like snakes.
   
   Choices.... garbage in, garbage out.

   My moral code is guided foremost by the comfortable choice.  Next is the hard choice I need to make to support my self interest.  Third is the choice I make to maintain social cohesion, these choices form an ethical cloak to hide my inner core of laziness, chaos and self interest.
   
   So how do I live with my moraly dubious choices?
   
   Eat chocolate cake - its chocolaty flavour and sweetness reassure me that I can keep going for one more day after making another moraly bad decision.
   
   Drop a dollar or two in change once or twice a week to the homeless guy I walk past every day  -  Sometimes I completely ignore him and sometimes I smile but don't leave any change even if I have some in my pocket. The change I give him, does not inconvenience me, but the small success of his business model, encourages him to continue begging and I like to play games with him.  I haven't yet walked past him eating chocolate cake, I think that would be wrong.
   
   Go to church every Sunday  -  I joined a group at church that helps with some home maintenance for the elderly.  I was asked to paint the wall white.  When the homeowner took a nap, I painted the wall with yellow paint.  I also baked a really nice chocolate cake that I left on the counter.  It's really hard for some people to complain if you give them chocolate cake.

   The source for my moral code is the Holy Bible.  This is God's word that teaches us how we should live our lives on a daily basis.  Since you asked for three sources the other two sources would have to be my parents and grandparents for they were the ones who taught me that I should read the Bible and follow its teachings.  They not only taught me but they lead by example in the way that they lived their lives.  I thank God for them and also for God's Holy Word.
