   my sweet grandboys
   my daughter's voice
   the lapping of waves against the shore line at the beach
   the song of the birds in my yard
   the calm as evening settles in
   petting my kitty
   reading passages from a loved novel
   hugs from my family and friends
   the dawn of a new day offering the promise of new beginnings.

   Love. Whenever i talk to my lover, he brings out the best in me..He once told me that when we're together is like basking on the beach under the sun without a care in the world. That's a relaxing thought.

    Spending time with my guy, watching a beautiful sunset, hiking, floating in a pool on a summer day. It's the simple things that bring me serenity and joy.
