How can I encourage visitors from other sites to post comments directly on my hub?

I put a note on my hubs saying please post here,  but so far I am not having a lot of luck, and people keep posting comments to the other sites.

I tend to think people post comments because they find the information relevant and helpful, as long as you have good content people will comment the best you can do is write good articles and promote them the comments will come automatically

@Ckimani, thanks for your answer, but I think maybe my question was not clear.  People are posting lots of comments about my hubs but on my linked sites (like Facebook), even though I asked them to post on the hubpage site.  It doesn't really matter except it is more difficult for me to keep track of comments when they are on various sites.

Your question was clear to me, and I have wondered the same thing. I post some of my hubs to facebook, and they comment there instead of commenting directly on the hub. It drives me crazy!@?
I told them to read here, and make sure to click on ads, because that is how I made money...LOL.
    Good luck!

I don't post my hubs in other sites. But can't you insert a comment in these sites asking people to post their comments in HubPages? Instead of putting up a note on your hubs? May be they never read that part of the hub!

An interesting, well-written hub is an important means to draw traffic, but that's not all. It seems that some people have that kind of attraction in their characters that is seen in their writing and writing styles. Some writers have a knack of making themselves interesting and known, and they draw people like flies to honey. These people know how to relate to others. They can be firm without angering, and they can repel without insulting.

I have a difficult time disagreeing without being disagreeable. Sometimes I drive hard with the intention of helping, but I  can easily lose the target. So, my people skills need honing. I have no problems with people who know me, but the ones who do not, usually misunderstand my intentions. Apparently, that is my fault. When I try to exercise a little humor, I insult sometimes.

Good public relations, self- and purpose-selling techniques,  and marketing skills must be what these good people have! Something wonderful is amiss here.

Mainly, these good folk know a lot about drawing traffic, and obviously, they have many back-up strategis. Hubbing successfully is not as easy as it appears, unless a person is Internet saavy.
