What gets "under your skin"? Why?
We all get upset over the car breaking down or losing money in the stock market but often there are more minor things that really "get your goat". What are these things to you and why?
I would have to say the one thing that really gets under my skin is unfair treatment or belittling someone. This is one of my biggest pet peeves. For examples for twenty years as a school district employee I feel I was unfairly treated because I didn't conform the hidden agenda they wanted. Therefore I suffered losing my position at several schools constantly getting bumped around the city. Also when it came to getting support from the top this often rested on deaf ears. These kind of things truly enrage me. The latest thing the one that broke the straw on the camels back was when I retired two years ago the School District chose to give me a termination pay of $545 instead of the $2100 I was owed. No matter who I called the union, the School District, even lawyers and politicians no one seemed inclined to help me. The union even told me that they wash their hands of the situation. Meanwhile I sit here with less money cause they make their own rules. Someday I should write a hub at this it truly is a disgrace. But these things are what get me upset the most.
Individuals who do not pay attention to signs, when something is infront of them and they ask me where it is, when I organize something and they mess it up, loud squeaky noises like the creepy squeal from Jaws, etc...
A waisted life, untapped potential, and the darker sides of human nature.
Hi Cre8tor-
Being lied to.
When someone lies they are telling the other person that he/she is simply not worth the effort to tell them the truth. Lying devalues both the liar and the person lied to.
Lying destroys trust. Once trust is broken, it is very difficult, if not impossible, to re-establish.

When people whine about something not getting done. If you think it should be done already, get up off your lazy bottom and do it. My daughter-in-law was living with us for 4 months with their 4 children under 5. She whined because the living room was a mess. It was her kids making the mess while she sat on her bottom letting them. Then she started on the kitchen. My husband and I didn't even eat there anymore because we could not handle the noise. We went out to eat. She had the nerve to suggest that it was time for me to load the dishwasher. I suggested to her that it was time for her to get off of her fat, lazy a&& and get a job so they could move out of our house. I love my grandchildren, but not living with me and not when she is around. They do not behave at all when she is.
Sorry about the rant, but you asked. I am normally happy.

What is it about this word that gets everyones attention? If you want a successful forum post- just name God the founding father of it. Why is that? Why does god get all the attention? It seems that people can't get enough bickering, discussion, debating or conversing about...

Why do teenagers shut themselves away in their rooms? We've all been there, but why do we shut ourselves away as teenagers and don't communicate as well with our parents during this time?

After oil prices came down to record lows after the Great 2008 Recession during the Obama administration, they have skyrocketed since Trump took office. Around the beginning of 2016, Brent Oil prices were around $30/bbl. Today, they are north of $80/bbl.Why?

Does life get easier as one gets older? They say life begins at 40. Is that really true? Or are we living in a world that belongs to the youth?
