So why does God get all the attention?

   What is it about this word that gets everyones attention?  If you want a successful forum post- just name God the founding father of it.  Why is that?  Why does god get all the attention?  It seems that people can't get enough bickering, discussion, debating or conversing about "him".  It seems here [on hubpages and all across the Internet] that people can't give him enough credit.  One minute its, "Why did he allow the World Trade Center to be bombed?"  To the next statement, "Did you see the picture of his figure in the clouds above the World Trade Center sky?"  Seriously, did he do it?  What the hell was he doing standing over it in the sky?  Could be possible that it was just a cloud formation and not God?  You know, its like this; I'm now learning he's the great scientist ever.  Yeah, right.  How about Albert Einstein?  Why is God the greatest?  I just don't get it.  Why aren't we ourselves the greatest and not God?

      I kinda differ with that idea of Einstein believing in him.  I read somewhere that he didn't like the fact that the existence of God couldn't be proved.  He was from a Jewish background, like myself, but he actually felt that Buddhism was a Scientists best guess.
      
      I like the child name thing.  He or she sure would get a lot of attention when they were older.

      No don't really see your point.  My point was the fact that this is the only subject line that gets any attention.  I'd soon people didn't give it credit for being the greatest scientist ever.  I'd soon its name was the same name that Prince had for while.  You know the name that couldn't be pronounced.  So yeah- um don't really see your point exactly.

                  Ya, look where it got'cha?  I lost my first two games.  I'm a big brother and I have a kid that plays.  He's got the potential to  be great, but, he's one of those kids that needs to lose the chip he wears on his shoulders.  I paid for this kid to be a member of an elite basketball team.  $325.00 bucks.  I'm a full-time student.  That's a lot of money for me.  But anyhow, he's really good.  He's got this attitude though, I can't take anymore.  Today he started mouthing his coach, right and of course that got him no where and my ass chewed out.  When I went to talk to him about it, his response was, "I hope he does kick me off!"  I ways like- "F" you kid!  You unappreciative little shit.  I really lost my cool.  I think I'm done helping poor kids.  I'm sick of the shit it gets you into.  Man.  To think, 3 days ago I bought this kid new basketball shoes.  Cost me $90 bucks on sale.  Shit.  Kids.  He's got a game at 6 tonight.  I'm really thinking about not showing up.  If anyone out there thinks they can make a difference- I've got news for ya- you can't.

                     Kids will be kids.  I happen to live with two of them--boys (not my own).  When they do stuff like that, it is usually a cry for attention.  And these kids aren't 'poor.'  Well--they aren't poor materially, but they think they are (their psychology is--as their mother was kinda weird).
                     
                     It sounds odd--but sometimes I think boys want their dad or whatever kind of figure that is to 'loose their cool.'  Proves something to them--as long as you do it in an appropriate way.  I've seen this scenario played out a few times this year.  I think some kids are different (sure as heck wouldn't have worked on me, ie), but I think sort of an authoritarian stance (at times) is what some of them need.
                     
                     Awful lot to tackle as a Big Brother, though..  But if you screamed at him (lol), as strange as it sounds, it was probably the right thing...  I'd show up at his game & I'll bet his attitude has changed.
