See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Private_network  The "external" IP will be the same for all, and you can see that by visiting a site like http://whatismyip.com  The router forwards all external communications to the proper internal client.  If a connected computer wants to run a server program accessible from the outside world, the router must be configured specially to forward a "port" from the outside to the appropriate internal IP.

      I agree with you...i have cross checked this.I and my friend went to the nearby coffee shop and once we got connected to the internet...we visited http://www.ip-details.com/ and we got different IP addresses.
