   A while ago I made the mistake of deciding that love was more important than money....they are equally important. You can have great love, but if money is an issue, it causes problems.

   Without love you can have all the money in the world and that does not bring happiness.  I could just as well be homeless with my husband then to live in a mansion.  Money does not buy happiness in any way shape or form.  It may make you feel good for a while but that is all it will do for a while.

   Money or Love, you say?
   Money brings fulfillment of all most everything;
   yet does it not bring even more needs and challenges? I think so.
   On the other hand, if it is (agape) love, that higher love
   Perhaps you will agree that it will place all needs in a sort of equilibrium
   (if you will); it downplays many needs that soon become trivial pursuits
   and allows one to focus away from that trivial fluff.
   Love brings true happiness.

   Whatever is missing in our life is the thing we covet. Having said that there are a lot more people who find love than there are those who become wealthy. In order to have a healthy marriage a certain amount of money is required. How much? Depends on the individuals involved. An older person once told me, "Romance without finance is nonsense". Having money without love can be emtpy and having love without money can be stressful. The truly blessed people find ways to get enough of both.

   Well, this is a very interesting question. I have had both and therefore, I feel that I can answer that without hesitation. LOVE is more important. I think that love is the one thing that people come into the world looking for first! If you do not receive it as a child, your desire becomes much greater as you mature.  Money has no feelings. You know you have to have it to survive. But love is eveyones desire, in one way or another, as a child, as a lover, as an adult, and as an elderly person. Money can make life easier or harder. Depending what you do with it and how you use it.  It also depends on who you meet! Love does not come around for everyone.  The right person does not always come to every person who is looking for love.  Sometimes we marry for money, not for love.  Then we find out that no amount of money could make us stay with that person!  I know because I experienced that myself.  Then what happens is you find someone you fall in love with,(doesn't make any difference if he has money), at least you have each other and if you both put your heads together you can make the money you need. I am almost 70 and still am in love with my 2nd husband.
