What happened
to living as you wish. When and why has society deemed what's appropriate and what's not. Each person has a different view on things---so why is there so much bias towards a person or their experiences? Do you judge an author's life on a book he wrote? So why is there so much judging of people on Hubpages?
There is a thin line between constructive commentary and judgmental comments. Speaking for myself, I would like to say that the things I write are directed to improve or help improve other works. Success is hard to judge because there aren't many here who have heard my voice enough to know more then what is written. I believe that is a problem a lot of people here have when they comment with the best of intentions.
Jagged,
everytime I read someone's hub---or I run into them more than not, people are sometimes rude, biased, and seem almost apparent to push their views on another. Why is this happening....and what caused it? I guess I just don't get it. I'm not saying everyone is like that, but most are--and how do you get around people who refuse to be unbiased when commenting.
It's possible to tell people exactly what I think, without the fear of being punched in the face for saying so. It's sort of an escapism. At least this is my opinion right now. Might get another point of view when I have heard others answer your question.
I try not to judge, but know I do unwittingly sometimes. It's not for want of trying - the judgment comes out regardless, sometimes. Natural human tendency, maybe.
Well, I can only speak from my own experiences- everyday life, not Hubpages- and an ongoing hassle is too many people do not like the "to each their own" approach-- they don't want to hear "what you do is your own business," they insist you say it is "right."
I think that is well put. It should be to each their own, but unfortunately that doesn't seem to be the case

For a very long time now my hubber score has lingered between 96 and 100. About a week ago it dropped to 93, and now is down to 91. Although people say this score does not matter, it matters to me. Yes, i have deleted a few hubs recently, but I have also added some. I've...

Here's that tweet:"Everywhere Marie Yovanovitch went turned bad. She started off in Somalia, how did that go? Then fast forward to Ukraine, where the new Ukrainian President spoke unfavorably about her in my second phone call with him. It is a U.S. President’s absolute right to appoint...

From what I've read in the bible, we are to identify wrong behaviours and speak up but we are not to play judge because that makes us prideful and reluctant to take the beam out of our own eye. Many Christians insist that it is their duty to judge and they end up judging everyone about everything....
