Why am I allowed to face these 2 types of  Trials..on this earthly journey?

    Trials
1 - Before being a Believer of Jesus Christ
2 - After being a Believer of Jesus Christ

Trials, like challenges in life, sharpen us. If we are never challenged, we will never stretch outside the box of our comfort zone. Now, many people believe God is the one who brings trials into our lives. I, personally, believe He Doesn't Bring them; however, He Allows them sometimes.

This could be the result of a consequence to an action or reaction we indulged. Or, this could be because ultimately, we live in a sin-filled world. There are dark spiritual powers in realms outside our tangible notice, that are constantly working to tempt us into sin, at every instigation such as causing us to become angry over something others have done, said, thought or hoped to do with us.

The fact that you have specified two types of trials is rather interesting. I don't see trials this way, as much as I see them reflective of our position in JESUS. We are constantly being challenged in various manners at different points in our lives, partly because of where we've allowed ourselves to go with GOD, or possibly stopped caring to go with GOD, or plausibly based on our standards of determination to be that person HE Created us to be one day.

Again, at each point, depending on how much we understand, how much discipline we are willing to invest into circumstances surrounding us and how much of GOD we bring into each equation, we will be challenged, GOD's enemy is behind this and he will not stop so long as we breathe; but GOD IS FAITHFUL; as Scripture teaches us, HE PROVIDES a method of escape for every temptation that is common to man (if we want HIS Ways to prosper in us).

May you be BLESSED and AFFIRMED BY HIS HOLY SPIRIT as you move forward in the spiritual journey that is not only instructive, but truly filled with adventure, some painful, some harsh, some almost intolerable, but also, ALWAYS BRINGING us closer to our KING, helping us to see HIM in ways we would never see HIM if our world was only fueled with sugar.

Jesus assures us that we will have challenges if we are His. Of course, there are challenges even if we're not His! I wasn't a Christian til I was 22, so I know. But God gives us challenges to teach us to rely on Him, sometimes He sends us the answer right away and sometimes we need to be in prayer for a long time.

Bless you, I pray and hope that your relationship with Him grows!

Rina, some preachers will tell you that when you become a Christian, you shouldn't have to struggle financially or be sick ever again. I have not observed that to be true. Some of the best people and strongest Christians I have ever known are struggling with illness, poverty and old age. The difference is that when you know Jesus, you don't cope with those things alone. My experience is that, in the end, that companionship is worth more even than deliverance -- assuming the deliverance you hope for doesn't come. Whatever your trials may be, my prayers are with you.

I believe the purpose of the trials we face before we become believers is to  eventually guide us to Christ. The trials we face after we become a child of God are to to keep us trusting in Christ and build our faith. Just a thought!

    I Cor 10:13 Paul says

There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God [is] faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear [it].

If there were no trials, you would have no reason to have faith.

It's because there is a devil. Plain and simple. Don't worry, once Jesus returns we won't have to put up with him any more. God bless!
