      We can certainly test whether or not you belong to Jesus. The fact that you feel the need to proclaim it in a public forum, actually speak volumes about your faith of belonging to Jesus.
      
      It sounds as if you're still working on believing yourself and had to come to a public space to make your claim so others would know and believe you.
      
      If you did indeed belong to Jesus then you wouldn't have a need to make a public display of your belief. Just in case you haven't noticed, it causes conflict.
      
      Jesus' teachings of love, mercy and compassion has no conflict.

            Yes you are right when you say Jesus teachings have not conflict. And by the way i did not state this beautiful Hymnal " I'm So Glad I Belong To Jesus" as a conflict expression. God has done so much for us and yet we dont sense Him around us. Pity some people of how they just think that they are the beginning and the end of them selves.. ahha . really pity. I am nobody to even say or judge but to shut the ego of one's self .. must know that there is God and God has been made know to us or we have an access today direct to Him because of His son Jesus and the leading and guiding of the Holy Spirit every second of the moment in our lives.

I am SEALED by the Power of the Holy Spirit - The Holy Bible tells me so. I am a New Creation in Christ Jesus - The Holy Bible Says so.. and a lot many more Promises .. I am gonna stand right here, right now on the Promises of God - What a Blessed Assurance of Jesus Christ my Savior - I am Glad I Belong to Jesus .. Hallelujah!

      I can say Amen to that.  I am not ashamed of the gospel.   Atheists are bold in their ridicule of Jesus and the bible.   Those who know Jesus should not be ashamed to let the world know.  Rina continue to let the world know what God has done for you.

         I am forever grateful to Jesus ... let the world redicule me and my witnessing of Jesus to the World through  my writings .. its a total surrender to HIm and i remain in Awe of my creator! ..I dont feel offended at all or must never feel so but yes i feel hurt when they redicule our Savior.          Not believing Jesus is the savior does not make someone an atheist.  Have you ever heard of Juadaism and Islam? Plenty of Jews and Muslims see this kind of fervent Jesus worship as crazy, not just atheists.

            So they are in the same boat as the Atheists.  The Jews hated Jesus because he exposed their hypocrisy. Read the gospels in the bible and see the behaviour of the Jews.  The Muslim believe in Mohammed and if you had to speak out against him do you think they would think highly of you.  People speak evil about Jesus BUT are afraid to do the same to Mohammed.   Call it crazy.  There is no other name under heaven whereby men may be saved..and that name is Jesus.     I will continue to fervently worship Jesus.  He is my saviour and I am not ashamed.

         Its the Love of God displayed through His only Son Jesus Christ our Savior and Him Leading us through His Holy Spirit. If it were not for this Great Sacrifice then imagine, the Punishment - The Book of Revelations tells us so.
         
         There we have to be grateful to our Father God, The Son & The Holy Spirit who is our ever Present Help. I am Glad Castlepaloma i belong to Jesus ..

                  Classic hallmarks of addiction like Drugs, gambling.tobaco and alcohol abuse are a stronger destructive addictions. maybe?
                  
                  Addictions can include
                  
                  Exercise abuse, workaholic, person who puts work above all else, which in turn create  a symptoms of unbalance? ALSO a  Learned  obsession with an Religion gains a great dependence on it and an unbalance bias. The majority PEOPLE of this world do not subscribe to the Bible, Christians despite adverse consequences, limits their thinking, often anti social bias towards other groups of people and individual blinded by their faith to see whats really happening .
                  
                  Try quitting JC for a few months. Check out your well-defined physiological symptoms upon withdrawal; broadly: persistent within your social. Looking in from the outside you could the absurd laws of characterized of bias and   en tolerance to others.
                  
                  What do you think my pastor brother would do if he quite JC, I am sure he would be most friendly to me like he used to and we would have a better relationship together again

                     Rina, Castle's right about Jesus being an addiction.  When I worked with drug addicts back in the 80s, one told me I was a Jesus Addict.  When you think of it, the Bible tells us to love God with our whole being, which could be seen as an addiction.  It just happens to be the right one we're supposed to substitute by His grace for whatever sinful addiction dominated us before being born again!!   Look out!  That last comment will start a firestorm!

                           I am so glad nobody owns me, I'm free from fighting 10,000 other Gods or with Atheists or fighting anybody, For everyone is God and respected equally.
                           
                           I'm so glad I don;t have think about Satan, Hell or Demons which most Christian fear most, Save Satan! Don't blame Satan for everything that goes wrong because he believes in Yahweh too.
                           
                           I am what I think and I am what I am. Not what a ancient med evil book tells me who I am or what to think.
                           
                           I am so beautiful to me, can.t you see, I am everything I hope for, everything I could be.

   Rina, I don't belong to Jesus, yet. After nearly 60 years, I'm still finding attachments to this physical world. I hunger to belong, but I'm still chaff ready for the fire -- a broken Pinocchio dreaming of becoming a "real boy" in the eyes of the Lord.
   
   I have seen and performed miracles, but only in those brief moments when the ego was entirely subdued and my will given to the Lord on High.
   
   Some people think they can reach God through ego. Some children think they can go to the moon with a plastic model of a Saturn V rocket. It ain't gonna happen.
   
   Ego is the dirty rags that will not allow you into the wedding feast. Ego is the baggage that will trap you on this side of the wall when the gate is thinner than a piece of paper; holding onto that baggage will not allow you (the spirit) to pass through that narrow gate.
   
   I hope that we all find Christ, our Lord, but ego is so seductive; and each of us can only follow one master. For too many, ego is winning.

   Hello Lone77star, The Holy Bible states in this verse clearly - Isaiah 43:1 " But now thus saith the LORD that created thee, O Jacob, and he that formed thee, O Israel, Fear not: for I have redeemed thee, I have called thee by thy name; thou art mine."
   
   Ephesians 2:10 " For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God has before ordained that we should walk in them."
   
   John 15:15 " Henceforth I call you not servants; for the servant knoweth not what his lord doeth: but I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard of my Father I have made known unto you."
   
   True, Satan comes to sieve us.. but Jesus has already prayed for us, the Bible tells us. Do you still not feel that you belong to Jesus and feel glad about it too? From the time you have accepted Jesus as your Lord & Savior - You are belonging to HIM. Remember, Jesus knows our weakness but we must not have ego to lay them before His Mercy Seat. Its the choice given. And when we learn to lay aside our differences, our attitude/ego, it is then we sense and the Holy Spirit in us lets us know this. Paul knew His thorn(weaknesses) and today we know our weakness therefore, we are encouraged through this Beautiful Scripture in 2Corinthians 12:9 "And He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me."
   
   Dont worry about the ego .. for its not bigger than our Sovereign Lord God... He will subdue it under His feet in His own time. But lets all be eager to lay the ego at his feet. God Bless
