Has anyone recovered from the early May traffic slump?

My views have since shot back to their original level and have even exceeded 1000 a day recently. I can't help but wonder why traffic dropped like that in the first place? I made very few edits to my hubs and traffic came back regardless?

At least I'm not alone but great news for those who have recovered or still on their way back. Il guessing since I'm so new my hubs still have not found their feet really anyway or maybe I've done a bad keyword job. Cant win them all smile

Could it be because my Hubpages account is over a year old perhaps? I've only recently started to publish content in earnest, but maybe the age of the account has something to do with it?

I didn't have a drop but then I have been focusing on promoting my hubs this month.

I think I spoke too soon. My traffic started falling again within a day of posting this. I'm down to about 49 visits from google.com instead of the 600+ I was getting. I wish they could just make up their minds!

Hmm my views are gone down a bit but their still higher than usual. I guess my hubs that are now popular are weekend hubs? Before the popular ones were weekday hubs. The weekday hubs have the usual traffic. Thats great SKCandles what do u plan?

I saw no effect in early May. What I saw was that on April 24 (Penguin day), my traffic shot up to 160% of what it had ever been before--and has held there. Prior to that date, it had averaged 6 page views per day (total account) for nearly four months due to one of the Panda bites.

Wow...that's incredible. It just goes to show that a Google update really could mean anything traffic wise.
