    We were buying a car last fall. While they were doing the oil change on it we decided to go have lunch at a local chinese buffet. When I got done they gave me my fortune cookie and it said "You will make a wise car purchase in your near future" I couldn't believe it. We went back and finished our purchase and have been happy with it since. Even the car dealer thought it was pretty weird to get that fortune!  I still wonder if somehow they had them made up to give people who they knew were doing business with the car company.

      lol, that's too funny! It could be a great marketing tool to give free fortune cookies to the restaurants nearby with hints to buy your products! Never thought of it. Thanks for sharing!

    Myself personally no I haven't I don't believe that anyone can predict the future. We may have concidences,but a person being able to predict the future to me is impossible. If a person or thing can predict the future then those cookies ought to be able to tell us, for example, when the world is going to end, or when the next big earthquake is going to hit L.A.

      I'm with you, I don't think they predict the future either. But something can be said about some fortune cookies messages telling exactly what you need to hear at the right time. That's the part that always amazes me. smile

    No. I love fortune cookies, and I'm inspired by their energy and message. But I've never used one to make a big decision.
