Has anyone else noticed that the forums seem to explode with activity late at night?

Most of the time I find for engaging here at the Hub is found after midnight. Over the last few months I have noticed that the forums seem to come alive at this time; I was just wondering why that might be?

Sunlight turns trolls to stone, so they are decidedly nocturnal beasts.

Oooouch, thy sting is indeed potent.  Sting me again.  You have spoken the unadulterated truth.  Vampires are ALIVE at night and at their most nefarious indeed.

I agree with Shaw... But... He wrote that Obama was Hitler... So... I question my sanity... .... Wait, I write on the forums late at night...

I'm sure there are people from all over on Hub Pages, In the Continental U.S, midnight on the east coast (where I am) is 8 pm on the west coast (where my brother lives) I'd have to stay up till 2am to catch comments go to the forums or read new hubs on the same day they are written if the author is out west.
I'm writing this @ 12:27pm Sat May 26th, some of those out west are not even out of bed yet, especially after friday night.

Good Question dmop!  Watchout for Trolls though!

I'm not on Hubs that late at night but I sure do love that picture included with your question. It makes me want to go vacation in the mountains.

The picture is actually a of part of the tree fort I built my kids the first few weeks I was unemployed. I built it completely out of scrap wood and fallen trees; did cost me a dime.

Not only Asian but Australian and NZ hubbers exist who are active on the forums.  The time zones vary of course, our early evening is getting toward or after your midnight, depending on where in the US you live.

The world wide web is a great place to step outside your country zones and learn how other people live. We Australians are a lively bunch which is possibly why the forums come alive when you're sleeping.

I haven't yet checked out the forums, so I don't know about it being really busy late at night.  I've been at Hub Pages for 7 wks now and have just written hubs, viewed tons of hubs and made comments, and have participated in answering tons of questions.....like yours!

I don't do much in the forums either, but I can't help but notice that the newsfeed is full of forum posts late at night.
