I live 1.5Km from the Indian ocean. Myself and wife both love visiting the beach and we try to visit them at least once a week.

I am a long ways from the ocean. I am in Montana and I think it is about 600 miles to the Pacific Ocean.  I grew up in a beach town in So. Calif. and I haven't seen the ocean since about 1985.  Miss it terribly.

I live about 1 hour away from many beaches along the East coast. I just spent Mother's Day at Hampton beach, but I don't go as often as I would like.

I live a few blocks away from the Gulf of Mexico.  Technically not an ocean, but it has the same effect.  As I grew up with it, I don't visit the shoreline very often any more.

My home is about 2 and one half hours from the Atlantic. I visit at least once a month. I grew up on the waters of Vriginia so the salty air, the balmy seas are in my genes. I am in withdrawal when i do not get to go to the beach and hear the waves crashing on shore. I need to feel the sand between my toes and smell the air as it wafts in off the ocean.

I live about 45 minutes away from the beach in Belmar, New Jersey, though we travel much more to Wildwood beach, which is about 2 1/2 hours away.

I live about an hour from the beach now but used to live only 3 miles away. I love where I live and am much happier but I do miss the sea and being about to see and hear it whenever I wanted too sometimes.

I live 30 minutes from the ocean. I go at least once a month, I prefer Ft. Lauderdale beach instead of South Beach (less tourists)...

I live about 300 kilometers from Acapulco in Mexico. I visit the coast every two to three years; However, I would like to visit the ocean more frequently due to a personal attraction that feel for the ocean.
