   On average, how long does it take for you to create a new Hub?
   
   I'm curious about the amount of time Hubbers spend creating a new HubPage.
   
   It takes me, on average, a couple of days or more to create a new hub. The research, writing, getting photos and videos, and laying out the hub takes time.

   My research and getting good copyright free photographs takes the longest time. For me, writing a hub can take anything from 3 days to 4 weeks, depending on the subject. I also leave a completed hub for a minimum of 48 hours without looking at it. I then go back and it's amazing how a fresh eye can see things to be improved and typos. I guess I'm slow compared to many hubbers on the site, but  I feel there's no need to rush and I'd rather push for quality rather than quantity. I'm sure there are writers who can create high quality hubs very fast, but I'm afraid I'm not one of them.

      I'll publish a hub as soon as I complete it and then go back and tweak it, looking for errors or changing the layout and words.

   If I look at the entire process from ideation to publishing it generally takes me 1-4 days. I quite agree that before publishing leaving the hub for a day and then coming back to look at it gives a whole new perspective to your article. It also helps one correct spelling mistakes or certain mistakes which are not evident on the first go.

   It usually takes me a day to research, write and find supporting images for a hub. Unfortunately, it also usually takes me 1 to 2 days to find a subject that interests me.

      I clip things and make notes in Evernote. I'll start hub titles in Google Docs and then write them when the fancy strikes me. I don't have any problems generating ideas, I have problems on following through and generating content

   I wrote & did my last hub in 2-3 hours , as I have so many photos it was tough choosing the right ones about the Beach & Mountains .
   Sometimes it takes me 3-4 hours even up to 2 days.

   60 minutes (or sometimes less) before I hit publish. Those 60 minutes includes:
   Choosing topic
   Brainstorming
   Researching
   Writing
   Inserting Images, and videos (if applicable)
   Listing Amazon products
   Re-reading the hub in a go
   ...That's it! And then I go for the final step: PUBLISH

   I can do a heavily researched hub in 6-15 hours generally.  Honestly I don't keep track, but it's something like that.  I use on average 10-15 sources, and first have to familiarize myself with all of the facts and viewpoints, pull them together into my own interpretation, and then get the photos to match.  I'm also a perfectionist, which means I go back and endlessly edit all my hubs.
   
   Some hubs I've written in a couple hours, but most take quite a few.  I'm more concerned with quality than quantity, and I'm finding that it's really paying off.

      I can relate to constantly tweaking hubs. I'm still tweaking my first and I know I'll have content to add to it in a couple of months.

   I just recently started the 30 hubs in 30 days challenge in an effort to speed up my writing process a bit. I was publishing a hub about every week and a half. My 5 most recent hubs took me one day each. The one on vitamin C didn't take as long as the one on biphasic sleep (I had to wait for my cats to fall asleep for the pictures I wanted lol). I'm not sure I can get my hubs done much faster, although I'd like to, but I don't want my quality to suffer either. My research, by far, takes the longest. Writing it can be agonizing if I'm uninspired that day. But photos and video seem to be easiest for me. (I wish writing was the easiest!).

      I would have to be holed up somewhere to write 30 hubs in 30 days. That's quite a challenge. I agree, research takes the longest, followed by writing. Pics and vids are fairly easy.
