How does evidence of dinosaurs fit into your religious model?

I have been trying to figure out why many of the religous traditions that I have studied do not mention anything about dinosaurs.  There appears to be strong evidence that dinosaurs existed. How does your faith deal with this topic.? Is there a reference to this point in the history of the world in your scriputres?

Even though there is hard concrete evidence that dinosaurs existed, I find it very interesting that the Bible does not mention these creatures.  We know, science says they lived long ago, older than Moses!  So you know they probably died out long before the good Lord commanded his laws for the People.  So how do those rather large animals fit into my faith?  I beleive they were an experiement gone bad and God knew they could not survive long.  This must of been in His younger days when He was still getting used to His magic!  Gotta wonder, huh?

The scriptures of the Bible say that God created the heavens and the earth and all that was in it. The animals were created first and then man, according to Genesis  1:25-26. The scriptures were written by men with inspiration from God and what time meant according  to the scriptures may vary in time that we use in recording today. The dinosaurs were animals (reptiles) and these may well have been inhabitants of the earth originally, well before mankind was meant to appear. Perhaps our creator was enjoying creating and wanted to make these creatures first. My belief about the scriptures are my own and many interpret them in the way that they choose. God created all and was God more than one entity or a single benefactor,( as seen in the scriptures when it was said that "We made Man")? some things in heaven and earth are not meant to be clearly known and this is what we accept in faith.Perhaps God wanted mankind to struggle for the answers about creation, if we did not accept the scriptural recordings, and when all is accepted as factual. then maybe God will be pleased.

we HAVE struggled with the answers about creation, and rational people no longer believe light was created before the sun & moon [sic!] or that all the animals and plants were created at the same time, but rather life evolved over millions of yea

scriptures often teach you a way of life and about beings which are relavant to you (humans) ... not about all the creations of God.
the existence of dinosours has no impact on the lives of humans therefore are not mentioned in scriptures.

much more likely reason is that like all the other creation myths the bible plagiarized, NONE of the peoples of the time knew about dinosaurs

if dinosaurs were an experiment gone bad, then your god should have been replaced millions of years ago - the extinction of the dinosaurs was just  the last in a long series of catatrosphic events in which 80-90% of existing species were wiped out.  an omniscient, omnipotent  god couldnt have been responsible - so either thosee who define god this way are mistaken about her capabilities, or, much more likely, there's no such being in the first place

by occam's law adding a god to evolution does nothing for the explanation; it might make the rekligious feel more comfortable, but nothing in the scientific explanation of the history of life on earth benefits from the theory of a god's shenanigans.

It does not affected my religious model.
But my religious model does not conform with major institutionalized religions.

The existence of dinosaurs, evolution and other scientific fact co-exist wonderfully with my view of God.
I note that those who view the Bible as the infallible word of God may have issues here. As for those who believe that the Bible is the infallible word of God, they must first put trust on the those imperfect men who declare the infallibility of the Bible.
I do believe the Bible has many truths, but I don't believe it is perfect

exactly - the bible was not written by or for scientists -both wirters and audience aredifferent..   unfiortunately in the US there are those who wish to impose biblical literacy in schools as if it were science , and this is where the conflict occur
