How do you handle a bully that is in a powerful, but unelected, government position?
There is a particular school board superintendent that is known for using bullying and fear tactics to have his agenda carried out. Teachers, administrators and parents have their hands tied because of the amount of influencehe pushes around. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
That is challenging for sure. I have worked within the government for many years and I have had my share of bullies. It seems the most influencial will eventually be found out to be a fraud. My suggestion: Speak to the powerful people he influences...a large group that are against him. Be the squeaky wheel and maybe even go to the news media with specific issues. That will get his attention. Just be careful.
Thanks so much for your advice. I have become heavily involved in this issue and we have even had to get our legislators involved in order to over ride him and get what is best for our children but he literally has a high number of his brainwashed (for lack of a better phrase) into believing what ever he says no matter how many facts are stating the opposite. My blog "It's A Wonderful Life In Cherokee County" gives a comical yet realistic insight into the situation. It's actually a very scary situation to be in because I have been attacked by people that I have considered friends because I don't agree with them on certain issues and it all stems from this 1 man.
Sounds to me enough people know "Enough" to expose his tactics. Form a group that will stick together and do just that. Good Luck!!

Are we, as the human race, giving God more than he can handle? With all the violence, wars, moral declines and constant breaking of the commandments, when will he say, "That's it! Lights out!" Are we pushing the envelope? I'm sure he has his limits. It's scary when you think about it.
