   Do you prefer using Pinterest or Twitter to promote your hubs?
   
   Which do you like to use? Do you use both? Which gets you more visitors?

   I promote on both pretty equally, but I get significantly more traffic from Pinterest.  It's pretty rare that I get retweets or other promos from people on Twitter, but I've been getting article pins on Pinterest as well as re-pins from my own pins literally every day for all of 2012 thus far.

   Twitter. I only use Pinterest for visual things. I don't think anyone goes to Pinterest to find stuff to read. I don't.

   I prefer Pinterest, though I often tweet what I pin. Pinning is simpler and I think people pay more attention to pins than tweets. I know I do. I also sometimes do click through to read what someone wrote if they have bothered to tag it in such a way that it gets me interested. I especially click through to read recipes.

   I use both and think each has its own merits. By and large Twitter is the main social platform I use to engage with my target audience and also the method I use to promote my hubs.
   I'm also interested to know which is your preference and why?

   Twitter, it's more comfortable sharing hubs there. Moreover, I got more followers on Twitter than on Pinterest.

   I use Twitter most often.  But I also use Pinterest for my travel related lenses or content that might interest female readers.  Most users of Pinterest currently are females.

   I prefer to use Pinterest to share my pictures. However, I find that the amount of traffic that transfers is minimal since the people re-pinning are more interested in the pictures than the linking content.

    I like Pinterest, and I always include lots of photos, so it works for me. I tried Twitter but it was just too random for me. I couldn't get into it.

    I like pinterest more. I have both and don't have many followers on them but on pinterest, my hubs seemed to be viewed a lot more because when someone repins it even if it's just for the photo that I use, their followers will see it and repin it if they like it. Even though it's mostly for sharing pictures, it does help with promoting your hubs.

    i use twitter only.. i dont have pinterest account,, i am gonna register one soon.. promoting hubs on digg and stumble upon is also a good idea..

    If you are posting to Pinterest and how your Twitter account linked, all you have to do is check the Twitter box and it will automatically post your link to both accounts, and since my Pinterest is linked to Facebook, it posts my link to all three sites at once.
