Do Slideshow Views Even Bring Any Revenue ?

I had 92,556 Slideshow views yesterday and ended up with only $6 and this was probably from my 4100 page views, Why is my revenue so low from so many views.

Not sure about how slideviews affect HubPages earnings.  It must be addressed somewhere on HubPages.  It sounds like you should have earned more than $6 from the 4,100 page views alone.  4,100 x 0.60 = 2,470 x $9.00 CPM = $22.  Perhaps the earnings aren't final yet?

Those are some impressive stats.  I haven't come close to getting that many page views in a day.   What strategy is working so well for you?

Cheers! Yeah i was expecting $10 from page views alone and . Obviously whatever i'm doing doesnt strictly work cos for 4100 views to convert to $6.. something wrong with my CPM.  Topics which people will retweet & Like on FB, so it can go viral w

I am not actively writing on HubPages right now because I have other things going on.  I would imagine the Olympics in London are going to get a lot of searches and sharing of stories.  Could be a great source of high traffic Hubs.

I get anywhere from 1500 to 2000 views a day and usually only make between 4 and 6 dollars a day. Does that sound right?

    Hi CCahill,
According to HP you do not get paid for slideshow views. You earn from ad clicks, traffic, ebay and amazon ads. Slideshow views helps with the amount of time a reader spends on your particular hub which in turn is regarded by google as a good thing and helps with your page rank and indexing.

Simply put, the more time readers spend on your hubs the more google rates your hub as a good source for the specific search. The more google likes your work the higher your ranking resulting in more page views resulting in more money.

Hope this is of some help,

    MJ.

Slideshow does usually not get paid. Blogs will do something.
