    What does humanity equate to?

Non-violence, mercy, forgiveness and compassion. Humans should really try to follow the path of 'live and let live', 'let live' more importantly. And by 'let live', I mean we should let live all living beings. This list includes animals, birds, trees and even insects. Hard thing to do. We like to add a little suffering as condiment to our meals. Even avid book readers prefer reading a paper book - they cannot get the 'feel' of it without the smell of a dead tree on the paper!

Ignore if you think this is a "stretch"!   tongue

Not at all, Metaphysical. I agree totally - we do not let live enough and utilize every living resource we can think of, in every way possible for our convenience. Only too true.

Humanity equates to kindness to everything at our surrounding. The whole world deserves to be treated with much care and kindness including the environment with animals, trees and mainly the atmosphere. The less privileged people also should be treated with kindness like the handicap and the terminally diseased one.

So true. I guess the hard part is practicing kindness!

The lesson of life from the day we were born till the day we end up dead is the process of learning about humanity.

It is easy to hate or get angry but it will be much better to forgive and let go of anger that makes life happier and lively.

Getting hatred or anger does not help in one's health instead it is likely to have the adverse effect.

Humanity is to be forgiving and love one another.

Forgiveness is actually for yourself, not the other party....if only we saw it that way.

Yes. But it is also a two way street. Forgive the other parties for their wrongdoings. Admit one's mistake including thyself is important. It is simply being human.

Yoga Philosophy calls it a Lila, a divine game. The Supreme is manifesting in and through Its creation, with an ever-transcending, ever-evolving Consciousness in a myriad of different ways.

Humanity by definition: a set of strengths, tending and loving our brethren, by caring and sharing that which we have, Humanity is what we as individuals make it, whether it be positive and goodness, or evil and full of strife. WE all have the ability to influence others, by our deeds, what we say and how we behave. As human kind, it is our duty, a stewardship, to take responsibility, and lead others in the way of goodness and in a life of well being, by our positive acts.

Hit the nail on the head there! The difficult part is in being positive though. We need the motivation to do it.

Each human is a book. Our lives are stories and chapters of these great universal books, written by us, God, devil and destiny. God has created this body (or a divine transmitter of various frequencies). Our task is to learn to use it and remain here to mop up the mess we created in our past lives by enduring hardships and finding ways to solve them and leaning what message they present us.

God has given us many gifts, and indeed, we are His instruments - we've got to use these gifts wisely and ask for guidance!
