If you only had a dollar left in your name...what would you do with it?
Give it to a homeless person. I have done that several times in my life. I figure they can use it more than I can ... I can always find another dollar eventually, thank the Gods, the Wolf and the Eagle Spirit! : )
Save your pennies on the shelf as the dollars watch themselves. I would save it.
Hang onto it until I couldn't stave off hunger any longer, then spend it on something at the grocery store. Or so would be my instinct.
Problem is you can't buy nothin' for no dollar no more. It wouldn't fill me up. I'd really be better off using it as tender to start a fire so I could roast a pair of rabbits, if I could catch them.
I would by 3 for $1 packs of seeds. It will do me no good at the moment, but at least I will know there will be food coming in the future.
I would go deep into contemplative prayer and ask God what I should do; then I would wait for the soon-to-come coincidence to occur; that would be the solution for what to do with the buck. That coincidence will lead to a more positive outcome for you and your last but not least buck... The coincidence will bring you to perhaps a way to make more dollars or a way to sustain yourself until the next coincidence (that is if you are in communion with...).
Couldn't do much with it.. The other day I only had a dollar cash on me and tried to buy a pack of gum. Unfortunately it cost $1.50, so that didn't work out well.
I'd buy some blank cards for 50 cents, paint some watercolors on the fronts, and sell them for $5 each.
Now that is thinking with your noggin!
I would probably give it to the church. It would help pay the bills on the building, the preacher, etc.
Fold an origami shirt out of it and sell it for 3 dollars.

I am in a situation where I am quickly running out of my savings, paying my bills, and, all that. So, I went looking for avenues to ask for donations at another website. And the result has not been good at all. (As in zero donations so far.)So, I am curious. If you were asked by a charity...

I stole this from another thread, so the topic could be discussed without further hijacking the thread it was on. I hope that was OK.John, I am not putting forth criticisms for you to defend. I do not know enough about MMT to hold an intelligent conversation about it. I was merely pointing to...

Nixon implied; take our paper dollars or don’t, since 1971. The U.S. citizens have been able to utilize Federal Reserve Notes, not backed with any gold or silver as it's abandon metals. No wonder why the Greedy Bastards create war and steals oil from the Middle East.So what else does a dollar or...
