Will Romney Catapult the US back into the dark ages?
The world has already recently had to deal with the lunacy of one frightful republican president...Suppose the unimaginable were to happen and Romney was elected President - Would the US be taken back into the political dark ages and be again the laughing stock of the word?
Of course not, but the demwits want the voters to fear that's what the retardicans would do. The retardicans, on the other hand, want the voters to fear the demwits would plunge the US into full bore socialism. Both are absurd propositions, mere campaign propaganda. That many people buy these ridiculously radical election season lines is, I suppose, a reflection of the sorry state of American education.
It's 2012 and people who name call and use horrific labels have the audacity to complain about our educational system! My brother-in-law has Down Syndrome and my wife and I cared for him in our home. How dare you use such a horrible name.
Demwit and retardican are horrific labels? Well, maybe they are, to demwits and retardicans. If you want politically correct goosestepping and open palm salutes, I'm afraid you've come to the wrong place.
I feel sorry for you and for anyone who stoops to a level of calling people names and have zero consideration for other people and what those kind of names mean in the real world. And we wonder why kids act badly.
Do you? Honestly? But never mind. Silly question.
I have tried to keep an open mind about Romney but I think the short answer to your question is "yes". If we are to compete on the world stage, we have to be a progressive nation. I think the odds are stacked against Romney being a progressive President with his deeply rooted conservative values. I think the most stark difference in Romney and Obama is their vision. Romney appears to be looking back, wishing for things to be the way they were. Obama looks to the future and sees our potential for being something better. I just hope the majority will come to their senses and decide to move us forward.
What specific policies are you concerned about? Why do people pose "non-questions" without substance? Cite one or two specific POLICIES that you disagree with and they the Hub community can debate in a real and intelligent way.
Also, what positive accomplishments, that have help the economy and upheld the Constitution, have happened under the current Administration?
He he. Hi Mitch. I love to start with a broad brush stroke. It tends to instigate fiery reactions which then propel debate. I'm neither republican or democrat. But it's okay to admit if you are a republican. Welcome to the debate....
I'm a constitutional conservative... Voted outside of the two main parties in the last Presidential election...and love a good debate, but I need meat...throw out some specifics on either side of the isle...
All the way back to the dark ages? I doubt it. His policies do tend to favor people of a higher income bracket, and I think he's very closed-minded about women's issues and equal rights for minorities and homosexuals. Which, to me, is unfortunate, but he is entitled to his opinions. About the second half of your question, I am a U.S. citizen who has spent at least six months every year for the past five years traveling outside of the United States and President Obama seems to be the only person or policy in our government giving us any credibility abroad. We are already the punch line for jokes all around the globe, and from what I've gathered in the last year, if the U.S. elects Mitt Romney we will indeed be the laughing stock of every other developed country, and some of the undeveloped countries as well. The election is an incredibly popular subject, and I have yet to meet a single person outside of the U.S. who can even believe Mitt Romney is still a candidate.

This is from FORBES. I am posting the whole article for your consideration:In tonight’s debate we saw a transformed Barack Obama, and it made a very big difference. In the first debate Governor Mitt Romney was relaxed and confident and in command; Obama was practically absent. Tonight, Obama was on...

Do you think Mitt Romney could beat Hilary Clinton for president in next election? Explain.Romney may try another run at presidency.

What do you think about Mitt Romney being the first president in U.S. History to have millions stashed in offshore Tax Havens. You know I saw this tonight and it really bothers me that we keep letting people like this run for the US President. I'll tell you right up front that I don't support the...

Are there any castles still in use from the dark ages?By in use, I mean for residence or something of the sort... Not tourist destinations or museums.

To me, Obama seemed tired and distracted and Mitt seemed energized. (Of course, not knowing what the "job" entails and how hard change comes could account for some of that.) My husband, who is a Republican, is convinced that Obama planned the whole thing (for some yet unknown...

Do you research candidates before voting? How could anyone vote for Romney or Obama?I wrote articles about a local Modesto mayoral election in 2012. Though I was on the first Google results page for the biggest search phrases on Google (and there weren't too many!), only a few dozen read the...
